I hired Abe Lincoln Movers, LLC for an eviction, and they were excellent. They were clearly experienced with eviction procedures, followed the necessary protocols, and worked quickly and efficiently once cleared to begin. Communication was excellent. The owner reached out immediately after the booking and confirmed everything in a timely manner. The team was professional, organized, and handled a difficult situation with ease. I would absolutely recommend them and would not hesitate to use them again.

First off: The owner was the most professional and pleasant part of this company. However, it was clear he "hired" freelance movers and paid them through Venmo. (As I heard him tell the movers afterward they would be getting paid through venmo. He also stayed to watch them the entire time which I thought was strange.)
These movers were unprofessional, and I had some unpleasant experiences with them. One mover tried to stick around after the boss left and scalp me for extra tips. He told a lie about them not receiving the tips I gave online through Hire a Helper. I was able to flag down the boss and ask if this was true and he immediately debunked it. The other mover was trying to take any furniture I didn't want to move, by telling me fibs about himself or family members who needed something "just like what I had." I heard the two whispering to one another behind my pod, most likely organizing their extra tip and free furniture scam. Not a good feeling to have these kinds of people in your home. They didn't do a great job packing everything in, and spent most of the time by the POD failing to pack it. The last 30 minutes of my paid (Extra) time was spent floundering around with no direction. Look elsewhere for a real company with real employees. Venmo freelancers cannot be held accountable, basically Abe Lincoln brought strangers into my home and rolled the dice with my move to save money.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
A professional experience from the initial call to your last item moved. The movers are employees of the company with many years of experience & training.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
A professional crew in a timely manner. Last minute bookings can be near or far, but we will do our best to be there on time. We always bring moving equipment such as dollies and shrink-wrap.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Taping up boxes so we can stack them, disassemble beds if you like or we can for you, and being available at the location to direct us where to place your belongings.
What types of moves have you handled?
We have moved bookstores, jewelry stores, churches, apartments, houses, pianos and small deliveries. We are licensed and insured for the state of Colorado.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
The experience makes moving anything a piece of cake! Our movers enjoy moving furniture and take great pride in happy customers.
