I needed help unloading my moving truck as I couldn't do it all by myself (especially the heavy stuff!). Hire a Helper hooked me up with Affordable Professional Movers and they were awesome! On-time, professional, hard workers and exceptionally careful with my furniture and the walls in the house. You really can't ask for more---- the process was simple and exceptionally smooth. Cecil and Allen were the movers who assisted us with our unloading of two 16' PODS from our move across country. Hire a Helper called me shortly after I requested the help on fairly short notice (I called on Thursday and requested a Saturday morning job). On the morning of my request, the movers showed up early, introduced themselves, and explained what they do and asked for a tour of the house so they knew the areas where we would ask them to place items. They were courteous and careful with all our items. Those guys worked straight through and finished the job in less time than I requested them for. Cecil took the time to try multiple entries in order to get the large items through different doors and explained what needed to be removed from a doorway in order to get the large items in. I cannot say enough on how impressed I was with the effort of these guys. If anyone is looking for movers...use these guys!!

Came right on time. Had all the tools required to complete the job. They work hard to complete the job in less than two hours. No damage to the material being loaded or to the property being emptied. Obviously the final rating can only be given after inspection of the loaded material after unloading at destination but, if no issue is reported at destination with the condition of the transported material, I would give them a 5 and would certainly recommend them.

On moving day we like to be prompt and get right to work. We can often be flexible around changing schedules, as trucks and closing dates often have changes or delays.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
To prepare for moving day, make sure you have enough furniture pads, straps or rope, equipment/tools, etc. We provide some of these things, make sure to communicate with your movers about what is included and what you need to provide.

We handle internal moves (relocating some items within the house), local, long distance, office moves, pods, containers, trucks, etc.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
I love being a mover because we meet a lot of interesting people. From football stars to your friendly neighbor next door, we meet lots of new and interesting people.
What training do you provide your crew members?
Each of our crew have over a decade of experience in the industry. We are a small group and keep it small on purpose, we don’t expand and hire more movers for more jobs, we keep it small to ensure top quality service, over quantity of jobs / crews working.
