Today I used Affordable Professional Movers to move some furniture within my residence and to also pack a moving truck with a sectional and desk. The sectional and desk was then moved to a second location where the movers unpacked the furniture and set it up at the new location. All work was done professionally and in a timely manner. They were on time and very careful in the way they handled my furniture. I would definitely recommend Affordable Professional Movers to anyone looking to have a moving truck pack/unpacked and or furniture moved within their residence.

Will and Cecil worked well together in loading the pod. Can't believe how much stuff they got in there. They were very careful with all if my belongings. They called to say they were running late which wasn't a problem with me. They finished within the 3 hrs. I would definitely recommend them. They did a great job. Thank you.

Hired 2 movers to load a storage container. They arrived on time. Communicated well regarding the schedule and items to load, wrap, and disassemble. They took great care with all items as well as the building (walls, floors, etc.). Maximized space in the container. Would recommended them and will likely call them again when unloading the container.

These guys were great!! For starters, their communication was excellent. They called before my time was to start to let me know the job before mine was running over, and gave me a good time frame, and called when they were on their way. Very prepared and worked their butts off! Was shocked at how much they were able to fit into the tiny POD that I had, and how quickly and carefully they did it! They were very professional, yet personable and friendly. I have already got their business card and plan on using them to unload at my new home when the time comes! Highly recommended! They were on time, prepared, worked hard, and treated my property reasonably well, although my landlord complained that they were less respectful of his. I was disappointed by their refusal to take a bulky IKEA bookshelf apart and reassemble it. We had to leave it in the hallway below the stairs, and we are now struggling to dismantle and reassemble the object on our own. Still, I would use them again.

They were very flexible as I had a cat in a cage and they were able to clear a room to let it out which was nice. They are masters at puzzle pieces as they packed my pods from bottom to top and used up every available inch. They treated my stuff with care and I appreciated it.

On moving day we like to be prompt and get right to work. We can often be flexible around changing schedules, as trucks and closing dates often have changes or delays.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
To prepare for moving day, make sure you have enough furniture pads, straps or rope, equipment/tools, etc. We provide some of these things, make sure to communicate with your movers about what is included and what you need to provide.

We handle internal moves (relocating some items within the house), local, long distance, office moves, pods, containers, trucks, etc.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
I love being a mover because we meet a lot of interesting people. From football stars to your friendly neighbor next door, we meet lots of new and interesting people.
What training do you provide your crew members?
Each of our crew have over a decade of experience in the industry. We are a small group and keep it small on purpose, we don’t expand and hire more movers for more jobs, we keep it small to ensure top quality service, over quantity of jobs / crews working.
