Hire a helper from start to finish was a complete disaster! I hired them for a move. Right away the mover called me and asked me to drop hire a helper and pay them on the side. I thought this was shady and sad no. The guys attitude completely changed and he started treating me rudely. I told Hire a helper about it and they got me a new set of movers. This turned out to be a huge problem. They weren’t experienced. They dropped my new couch and broke the whole structure. They didn’t have adequate equipment either. I reported it and they offered me $50 on my $1800.00 couch. I made a report. They only give you $.60 per pound. This is absurd. Basically they can ruin your things and you have to pay for it. Their insurance division is horrible. This is a total racket. I would never hire them again. Hire a Helper is a really bad company with sketchy people working there. Hire a helper should be ashamed of the way they do business. But what goes around comes around.
