They were good and very fast.

The guys were on time, but worked very slowly (probably because they are paid for work time). We needed to carry heavy furniture ourselves to make sure not to lose to much time. Our new mattress (only one month old) is very dirty (they did not protect it enough), some other minor scratches on shelves.
At the end we needed 30 minutes longer than agreed, and the guys were unsatisfied that we only needed to pay these 30 minutes and not a full hour. So we gave them more tip to stop their complaints.
In total it was okay, but we probably would not chose Henry Moving again because the service was not what we expected.

They were over three hours late. I had marked FLEXIBLE on the time when making the appointment so I guess this is understandable. However I called several days prior to confirm a time and they promised to call if they would be late. No call - when I called, Henry told me they were on their way. It was a blatant lie because I talked directly to one of the movers later who was still at their other job.
Once they arrived, they started moving my things - one of the movers complained out loud openly the entire time and mostly stood around. Just a really bad attitude making ME feel guilty for having them move my things. In the end, they asked me for my help to move stuff - not really what I expected when I was paying almost $400 for this service. At the end of the day, the movers wanted to charge me for an extra half hour. Thankfully Henry said he wouldn't charge for the extra time. But I had hoped for a refund.
I would never recommend this company to anyone else.

The service was okay the movers were friendly however; items were broke in the move and I do not blame the movers I blame the owner for not calling to acknowledge the incident.

Henry and his teams were wonderful! They arrived on time and work really hard. We have new hard wood floor installed, and forgot to put down any floor protection, but Henry make sure everyone in his team understand this and not to drag anything on the floor, not even our corner computer desk!! There weren’t any scratch mark on the floor after they left! I highly recommend Henry Moving Company, Inc, and definitely hire them again next time we move! Thank you, Henry!!!

they showed up 15 mins early, which was nice. the guys were all very nice. they worked at an okay pace. they did take cigarette breaks and they did break a piece of furniture. they tried to repair it and stayed over at no charge to me to try to fix it. i've had to repair it myself. this was the first time i've ever used movers, and compared to using friends it was a great experience, but i can't compare the experience to other movers.

First of all, they didn't show up on the move date and did not return my phone calls. I got ahold of Henry that evening, he blamed the bad weather, and promised to send workers the next morning at 10 AM. The two young men showed up early (which was fine with me) at 9:30 AM. They did a good job...I thought.
On our way down I-95, I received a phone call from one of the helpers that Henry wanted me to call him, so I did immediately. He was irritated at the distance we were traveling and stated that he never would have accepted the job, if he knew we were traveling 40 miles to complete the move. I told him that I did a simple search on Hire-A-Helper with my start and end addresses and his company showed up in the query. So at the end of the day, I ended up paying almost DOUBLE what was quoted in the query. I tipped the two helpers and that was that, UNTIL...
Two days after I moved in, I plugged in my flat-screen television, which had been damaged with a crack in the screen. After phone calls and photographs being e-mailed, I always had to contact Henry to attempt to settle this issue and he would not return contact with me, as he said. After failed attempts for Henry to correct this situation, I contacted Hire-A-Helper and they took care of the damaged television. Dealing with management at Hire-A-Helper was fantastic, but I would NOT recommend Henry Moving Company...unprofessional and only cares about his good rating...don't be fooled!

Henry Moving Company was 30 minutes late although they called several times to describe their progress. They were prepared for the move with furniture pads etc. and packed the truck very well. They worked steady and knew what they were about -- the way they walked and positioned their body or angled furniture. I had alot of stairs. It was not fun. The movers wore headphones, listening to music or taking calls, and communication was a challenge. It was like working with ghosts and left me feeling that the service was solid but uncertain as to whether I would hire them again or try a new service in the future.
