The movers decided to try driving their moving truck through our backyard to get to our storage shed after it had snowed and the ground was soft and mushy, despite my husband's warning that it could get stuck and recommendation to not drive it back there. It got stuck and they spent the next 2 hours trying various ways to get it out. We eventually had to get a tow truck to pull them out. Fortunately they paid for the tow truck. But we had to make the arrangements with the tow truck company in the midst of trying to pack up all our last minute belongings. In addition they left huge holes in our backyard from the tires. But worse than that was the speed at which they moved. We had some friends come to help us with boxes and lightweight stuff and they moved more of our belongings then the 3 guys we were paying. They didn't seem to have any idea how to move the heavy furniture, almost as if they hadn't ever done it before. It was very frustrating that due to the delay in the beginning and their snail-like pace that we were still unloading at dark and had to make another trip on our own the following day for stuff that did not fit. At the end of the evening when they were finished we called hireahelper to make our final payment. We had explained to them the situation and they agreed we should not have to pay for the time they spent attempting to get the truck out. But the movers sat outside our house, calling us and coming to the door trying to pressure my husband to pay for that time. I would not recommend using this company at all. They were not professional at all...didn't put down any protection for the carpet in our new house despite the wet conditions outside, didn't wrap many of our belongings that needed to be wrapped and did not move efficiently, wasting lots of time. We are thankful to be done with the move and thankful that hireahelper was the "middle man" and sided with us on the final payment arrangements.

The Henry Moving Company team did a splendid job. The two workmen, Zack and Carter, called in advance to let me know they were on the way, called when they arrived, were on time, well-prepared for the job, worked tirelessly, were very respectiful of me, my property and goods. They tackled a very difficult item -- a heavy fireproof file safe -- with determination to include it in the items moved, even when I offered them several opportunities to leave that item out. They filled a 16-foot truck in two hours -- not including the extra hour it took to muscle the safe out of the house and into the truck. Henry checked-in on them to make sure all was well. I have used Henry's team several times, and intend to use them again.

Very pleased with their service both young men were very professional and courteous. Only negative was choice of music wrap is fine but not when woman is there. Didn't feel the foul language was appropriate. Would use their service again Overall rating B+.

Good professional work. I have moved half a dozen times in the last 3 years and have decent basis for comparisson. The helpers called ahead of arrival and arrived on time, even 5-10min early. The truck was the right size, as ordered on the HireAHelper web site. Loaded and unloaded in a pretty organized fashion. I had labeled furniture and other bulkier items with floor/room numbers and they put all those in the right places. They could have loaded maybe a little faster but I prefer them to take their time than to bang up walls or furniture. What's important, they didn't scratch or demage anything. A minor issue, not a big deal really, but deserves mentioning: I was aware that the job may take longer but only pre-paid for 2 hrs on the web site. When the time came to release the payment over the phone, I was not able to add the overtime to the credit card payment but was asked to pay cash directly to the movers (in all fairness, the move was on a holiday, Thanksgiving Day). Since I didn't get a receipt for the extra amount, I wouldn't be able to itemize it on my taxes... Having said that, I need to reiterate that the guys performed a solid job, and on a holiday. I would use them again.

The movers were on time and had all the materials in order to be prepared for the job. They had a casual attitude and did not seem to have the drive to work very hard or get things done quickly or efficiently. We certainly had some heavy stuff and maybe a two-man crew wasn't enough....It was apparent it was much more than they expected. Overall, they were ok. They did the job, though it took much longer than we planned and we moved stuff right along with the guys and for several hours after they left. I wouldn't use them again. Not horrible, just not great either.

Henry Moving Company was able to take care of my move after a previous moving company didn't show up, so I give them thanks and props for being flexible. They called to let me know they were on their way. They worked fast and finished in under 3 hours.

This company henry moving company did a horrible job upon arrival, the employees they took their time to get out of the truck, when I stated to them that we were on a time schedule, they told me that it will be done as it was not plenty stuff, and only 1 room not apartment
We had an elevator especially for us, (no one else was allowed to use it), but they so long between trips, as the other worker was not sending up the elevator when needed, everytime I went downstairs through the other elevators i always saw them sitting on the ground talking to each other for long periods of time, smoking and listening to the truck music or the cell phone music, when i voiced my opinion they laugh at me.
THEY WENT OVER THE HOURS at the first location, while travelling in the truck with them, one of the employee was smoking, when i told him that it was making me cuff, he continued to smoke puffing the smoke in my face.
When we arrived at destination, they moved the items so slowly, when i complained they laughed with profanity at me, sat at the curb speaking to people( I could of see and speak to them through my window), not until my family arrived and she told them her mind, they began to do work, slamming down the boxes which had cause so much damages to my belongings
When I called their employer he hung up on me at all times, one time when he called me he was so abusive, and did not want to listen.
Another time the employer called me and threaten me that he will get his money one way or the other, i called hirehelpers who i had contracted( this company helped me through the whole ideal through calls and replying to emails, I recommend them to anyone), and went to the police station and made a report( the movers hanry moving company knew where i lived and I was fearful for my life)
