The movers were very thorough and efficient. They got all the furniture disassembled, moved,and reassembled during their time. They even got a good portion of my boxes moved. If I was able to extend 1 hour, they would have been able to move everything I had packed and ready. Unfortunately. I was unable to add any additional time because the movers schedule is so tight that they didn't have the ability to give me an extra hour. I was told that upfront when I scheduled the appointment through Hire A Helper. I was somewhat disappointed with that because the rep told me how much extra time would cost per hour; but then when I asked about an additional hour, I was told the Helper wouldn't be able to give me an extra hour. That is not a slight on Samuel Services as they were great. But Hire A Helper should ensure at least an extra hour is available just in case it is needed.

We were moving a studio apartment across country, so it was imperative that the truck be packed so that nothing would shift or move or get damaged, including a few antiques. At first we were not sure everything would fit, but the 2 movers were confident from the start that they could do it, and got everything packed with room to spare. They were on time and finished in less than 2 hours, so no added charges. Not one item was damaged after 5 days of driving across country, and nothing even shifted inside the truck. Great job!

The two gentlemen who unloaded my POD were awesome. They showed up exactly on time and knocked out the job in less time than I anticipated, even with three flights of stairs. They also showed great care for my things and made sure everything was good to go.

Showed up promptly and after assessing my boxes got immediately to work. Polite, professional and hard working. Only critical concern is they had to 'borrow' my packing tape and plastic wrap to secure moving blankets to furniture. Wasn't expecting that.
