In addition to arriving 2 hours late, which wound up costing me more money, they were not efficient and did not communicate well throughout the process. I had most of stuff dropped off feet away from original location and they had plenty of help from Carolina Thrift unloading. They broke a large piece and rather than tell me they had, they left the piece broken off under moving blankets inside moving van. They did not close up van before leaving and I had to call them back from their car. The total drive distance was only 23 miles so I object to being charged the extra hour which I believe was due to their own inefficiency and taking their slow time in the performance of their jobs. Arriving two hours late should have factored in to charging me the additional hour and I now regret tipping them as that is a sign of a job well done. I am an over 70 female and had to pull off this move by myself with no other help. I communicated clearly and often of my situation and needs before the move. I would not use this crew again.

Majic Movers was great! They came promptly and were able to move all of my furniture very quickly. Not only where they very professional but they were very careful with moving everything especially bulky furniture. I had stored all of my furniture in a POD and as they unpacked they noticed a few things that had been damaged in the move and took special care in regards to hanlding those items. Using Majic Movers made unpacking/setting up my house very easy and I would highly recommend using this company.

The 2 guys showed up on time and it took them 3 hrs to unload 4 cubes which were packed! They did not stop and were very efficient. Did reassemble my bed and when they were finished checked all for cubes to make sure nothing was left behind and clean.

We start off with a call, to make sure you're ready for us to come to your home and also to let you know that we're in route to your location.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
You should make sure you have enough blankets "moving blankets" to cover your furniture, it's always best you have more than enough, then not enough. Straps, tie downs and have all your belongings packed and ready to go this will allow your move to go faster and smoother and cost you less money and when we arrive just sit back have a cup of coffee or a beverage of your choice and watch us make it vanish like majic.
