Movers for A Cause were great. Not only were they on time but were willing to wait for us as we were late! They worked hard and efficiently. We moved into a four story walkup and they handled moving alot of heavy items like a breeze. Definetly recommend them to anybody who wants hard workers with great attitudes.

These guys were GREAT. They had all the tools they needed. They were fast, hard working, very nice guys. Moved everything with care from the trailer up to our apartment. Plan on using them again when we move everything else later on this year.

Very friendly and took great care of our things being moved from the basement. At first thought he was being too careful in securing items in the truck but it was worth it. After a 13 hour drive, nothing moved and everything was in good shape. Even called when they were running a few minutes late due to a prior move. Definitely recommended.

Very meticulous, but packed everything really well. Nothing budged at all. Even though they took longer than we expected, they still stayed within their 2 hours so it didn't cost me any extra! They also arrived on time and were very friendly. Everything was also wrapped very well, nothing was even dented or scratched . I would recommend them!

So...the movers themselves, were fine. Nothing broken, no scuffs/nicks on the walls or floors. BUT.....my scheduled appointment was for 3-4pm. They didn't show up until 11pm that night. Although, they did keep me updated to let me know where they were and possibly how long they'd be, the 7+ hours they were late is just bad business. I was told I'd get an update within 90 minutes of the first call saying they'd be late. I didn't get a call until 4 hours later. Again, bad business. The biggest problem with this situation was that I was very clear and up front about the fact that the service elevators in both buildings (move out and move in was literally across the street) had particular windows of service for my move. There were/are a lot of people moving in and out of the two buildings as one is brand new. That being said, the service elevators were both very busy and when my windows closed, I had to contact my building managers to let them know I'd be using the elevators at a much later hour. Obviously, they were not happy. Because the guys were so late, I had not made any plans to have any other help (why would I, assuming the movers would be there at their scheduled time?) so I moved just about everything....on my own. By the time they finally showed up, they had 4-5 pieces of furniture to move. Needless to say, it was far from worth the cost and extremely stressful. I will never use this service again and I'm contemplating asking for a full refund.
