Did and bad job damaged cabinets by cracking with heavy boxes and will not take responsibility, becareful and watch, beware of what they are doing at all times with this company sheisty, I paid 1 person to help me put my house back together because I am elderly and disabled black woman and he came to my house 20 to 30 minutes before the pod was almost empty I moved in with a full pantry 15 to 20 boxes the hired helpers had to drop these bottom boxes to the floor and cracked not scratch the middle cabinet panels not one but 2 and told there father that I had a random man helping me move please tell me what grown mature woman in her 60s is moving to a downtown area and inviting random men in her home in Kansas City, Missouri make it make sense because she will not be long for this world that we live in, I posted this because these people don't know me from a can of paint and choose to stomp on my character myself being a strong blk Queen with morals and my own money to buy their moving services, I will always defend my character as a god fearing woman, and I am not pressed for money whatsoever If you use Weekend Warrior Moving Becareful and watch your back sheisty and under hand ,you have been warned !!! I Stand 10 toes down Make it Make Sense, Why would I need 5 men to unload 1 pod and pay this company for 3hrs labor for 2 men I'm SMH Conscious signs for the Conscious mind

We were incredibly impressed with the four movers sent to us by Weekend Warriors through the Hire-a-Helper network. From the moment they arrived, they were personable, respectful, and clearly knew exactly what they were doing. They treated our belongings with great care and managed to load both our POD and U-Haul truck with remarkable speed and precision.
It was immediately clear that they were seasoned professionals—efficient, coordinated, and thoughtful about how to maximize space and protect our items. We’ve moved many times over the past 40+ years, and we can honestly say this team was among the very best we’ve ever worked with. If we could bring them along for every future move, we absolutely would. Highly recommend.

I want to amend my earlier review to be more clear about what went well and what I felt did not.
What went well: the men were on time, considerate and polite. They went right to work on moving the requested items and carried everything out of the house without damaging anything. A 3rd coworker came that was not expected and he worked as well at no further cost.
What I felt did not go well: I had searched through the POD storage container website for movers who knew how to load a POD correctly and efficiently. Weekend warrior had great reviews. In retrospect the reviews may not have been for how well they loaded a storage unit. These movers did not demonstrate skill in loading our items. We ended up repacking the POD the next day, not just for efficiency but also to wrap and protect the items and position them so they would not get damaged in the move.
My recomendation is that for moving furniture around, help with heavy lifting, carrying items to a truck Weekend Warrior Movers is great. For packing items securely and efficiently i would check elsewhere.

They were amazing!!! They cleared our entire U-Haul and even helped clean it afterwards. They were very respectful of our new home and our stuff. Highly recommend!! Can I do more than 5 stars, lol!

Two professional movers ready to do the job. All equipment needed to complete the job. Dollies, straps, blankets, etc
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Make sure you have a truck, make sure you have all the boxes packed and sealed.
What types of moves have you handled?
We handle local moves, long-distance moves, and office moves….residential as well as commercial. We also specialize in nursing facilities, floor jobs, office relocations, etc.. Ask about a veteran discount when booking if applicable
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
The satisfaction Of knowing that we helped a family and love taking the stress off the customer during a time that can be extremely difficult in a persons life
What training do you provide your crew members?
Each member works as a crew of 3 with a manager as they are being trained how to load and unload Trucks safely. We show how to prevent injury and how to utilize time, and space effectively
