There was a man and woman that came. The man was friendly and worked efficiently; however, the woman was not much help. In the beginning, she moved slow and struggled with lifting. He really needs more help. A small 1 bedroom apartment with furniture only in 2 rooms took 3 hours! That’s insane and now I’m late driving 4 hours for another appointment.

Yes your move was a 1 bd apartment but there was disassembly that took place of several large pieces, some last minute packing and sharing of an elevator( basic residential size,that could not fit as much) that took place during your move that slowed up time.

Anointed Movers came to the rescue me. No one else wanted the job and I did not know why until after Derek explained it. A lot of movers prefer to move large heavy furniture over many boxes. That makes it more challenging for people that are just moving an Art Studio with small furniture and the boxes of art supplies. I had three containers and unloaded one container and part of another container before Derek arrived. The packers on the origin end did not pack the containers per my instructions and when I opened the Container doors at the destination, the heavy boxes (that I requested to be on the floor of the container) had been packed mid-level which caused the other boxes around them to get smashed and jammed against the container door during shipment. So I was desperate for someone with muscles to help get the heavy boxes of supplies out of that position and moved to the garage. Derek with Anointed Movers did a wonderful job in removing the Cube Furniture and bookcases from one container and set up my Art Studio according to my request, as well as stacking the boxes in my garage. Thank you Derek for a wonderful job!!

They were on time. They did a good job of communicating with us about thei arrival time. Both Derek and his wife, Priscilla were quiet, respectful and went about their work in a timely manner.

Derrick (Annointed Movers) did a really fine job. First they contacted me the day prior to the move to confirm time and location, also asked if anything special was required for them to do the job. Next day they showed up as agreed and were ready to go. The were unloading a Uhaul for me, I am too darn old to do this anymore. The loaded the truck into a storage locker that I was worried might not hold everything. The packing was professional and took very careful handling of any item that required it. They completed the task a little quicker than I expected and were friendly and courteous the entire time. I will definitely consider them when I need help and will recommend them to others.
