Our closing date changed 3 times which resulted in losing our reserved mover. We found River City Moving and Storage through Hire a Helper with one day’s notice. I can’t say enough great things about them. They were on time, courteous and professional. I absolutely would recommend them and their services. Top notch!

These guys worked very hard. Even though it took 3 hours, that was to be expected with going up the stairs. Also they were very friendly and professional.

The workers showed up with dirty t-shirts and shorts, no water, sweating all over the furniture, touching the walls, I am afraid to sleep or sit on my furniture before I clean it. They kept asking do you want this in the house??? YES EVERYTHING GOES IN THE HOUSE!!! THEY WANTED TO SIT EVERYTHING IN THE GARAGE. Lazy!!! They sweated all over the sofa and mattresses. Why did they remove the furniture wrap and coverings before bringing the items in? When the guys in DE packed us out they covered everything before loading it. This was the worse move and a waste of my money!!!!!
Workers showed up late, they left this home in ruins, the walls are scratched, chunks of the corners knocked off, the stairs will have to be re-finished they left scuff marks all over the steps, the banister is rail is scratched up. Furniture damaged. The owner even had to call because the workers never called to check in and let him know that they had made it to the site. Needless to say, I will NEVER USE HIREAHELPER OR RIVER CITY Moving and Storage AGAIN!!!!!
