They did not work as quickly as I had hoped..almost as if they wanted the time to pass, only had them for 2 hours. Stalling at times…

The gentlemen thought the move was just for a piano. They arrived on time. They did move everything that we asked them too and they finished early. They worked hard. They were tired. We were a last minute pick up and we were their third job for the day. They were friendly and efficient.

My review is just good at the time, due to the fact that I won't be able to inspect my property until after it comes off the POD. They were very courteous and got things done in under the amount of time allotted. Very happy with the price and service

I hired 4 men and 3 of them were very good, the one who was in charge, Jason, however, was only adequate.
I found him going through the items we were leaving for the new owner, things that were of use to the house for repair or upgrades. Several times he was no where in sight while the other men were busy hauling boxes and furniture into the PODS. After the job was complete and they had been paid, Jason went back into the house and took MY tools and 2 rolls of MY tape! I needed those tools to replace a latch on the workshop that he completely mangled beyond use. I asked him to cut the lock off because we could not locate the key. He found it easier to cut off the latch. leaving the lock and latch unusable! This was problematic to me because the alarm on the house could not be secured without the shop door locked. It took me an extra hour and a half to find the harware store that carried the exact latch since I was not able to install a different type without any tools.
If you use River City, speciffically ask who is coming and steer clear of "Jason"!

Our helpers arrived a little earlier than we had planned, but luckily we were ready. The team did an excellent job packing our rental truck, but seemed to slow down considerably in the second hour. But it was hard work-- we were moving out of a townhouse and they had to go up and down a lot of stairs!
