I booked Blue Movers 24 hours before I needed them because the folks who were scheduled to assist me cancelled. I booked them to arrive at 11. At 10am I received a call indicating that they would not arrive until noon. At 11:30 I received a call indicating that they would not arrive until 2pm. They asked if it was okay but since I had no alternative I felt compelled to agree to the new time. By the time the movers arrived it was pouring rain. The lead mover was rude and seemed agitated by the fact that he had to drive so far to get to my mother's house and the move was not as easy as he had anticipated. I was very put off by his demeanor. While they were staging the move they left my mother's dining room set on the porch. It got soaking wet and one of the chairs was severely damaged. The move took one hour longer than anticipated. When they finished, the lead mover shoved his phone in my face and said, "we are done, you have to call them to make payment." I replied that I would use my own phone. Once again, I felt very uncomfortable by his aggressive behavior. I was thankful for the last minute help but very disappointed by the lack of professionalism of the lead mover. I would not use them again.
I used them to pack my POD up and used them to unpack. The packing up wasn't bad and I appreciated the hard work. Even though two of the guys was late because he said that he had ran out of gas. The owner showed up to begin the job. My issue is with the unpacking. My floor was damaged, one of the glasses from one of my tables was dropped, it didn't break but it is damaged, and a piece of my furniture was cut when the wrap was being taken off. I was told that my furniture would be replaced but it has not. Nor have I been compensated for my damaged floor or glass. I would have recommended this service in spite of the issues had the owner kept his word. I would not use their services again.
Yes they were on time and they perform the job faster than I expected. And they were able to honor an additional request I had.
Mr Sergil and David came to unload my truck. Me Sergil let me no in a nice polite way, that it was a three man job. I apologize and explained this was my first time and what no idea what the hell I was doing. He say no problem,don’t worry we got you. They unloaded a 26 U-Haul by themselves. I had scheduled them for two hours and they stayed a extra three hours. They a marvelous job. Very polite and respectful. I would Recommend them to the President. I ment to new friends ????????
