The team at Demac Contracting was amazing! I was surprised to see 3 guys show up to help, I think the 3rd one was a trainer but either way, he was able to help move the heavy furniture which cut down on the time. They were very courteous and we actually had a lot in common which made the experience better as there was no awkward silence. I would highly recommend this company as you will not be disappointed - they even finished before the time was up.

DeMac Contracting was great! Hired two guys for 3 hours. 3 guys showed up and they worked fast, carefully, and efficiently. They were prepared with necessary tools. It was obvious that all 3 were experienced moving big heavy furniture and used some finesse to navigate some tight corners. I will absolutely use them for my next move.

I’m sorry to say I was very upset with service. I called to report Incase I have broken valuables when pod is unpacked. They loaded small breakables and then put my furniture on top of them. Took apart my kitchen table and left the screws laying in my garage if I hadn’t noticed I would not be able to put back together. Forgot to pack my closet so now I have all my clothes in my temp place. And to add insult to injury the lead person used my bathroom and clogged my toilet and did not ask kindly for a plunger but left defication in my toilet without telling me. I had final walk through with my buyers and did not not know my toilet was clogged and smelled until it was too late. I know it was prob an embarrassing situation for him but all he would have had to do is ask for a plunger.

These guys were the best possible experience! The owner himself was one of our movers. Three guys came even though I had only hired two. They worked hard and packed the truck efficiently and quickly! They were finished with time to spare, and even followed me to a second location to help out. If I ever need to move again in KC, I would hire them with gratitude. We charge an extra 20% for same day requests.
Next Day Moves
We accept next day requests at our normal rates.
Refunding Unused Time
We do not refund for any unused time.
Extra Hours
We can always stay at least 1 hour over the prebooked time.
