The team arrived on time, worked hard, and were respectful- but didn’t know what they were doing.they didn’t understand the “high and tight” concept and told me that they had never done a service for UPack before and didn’t understand their model of “ pay for what you use”model. I was extremely upset in the fact that they had just started setting items on truck with no plan and I had to explain the model and direct them and have them “redo” the initial work. At that point they worked very hard to satisfy me - and they were very nice - but Even after their efforts to try to effectively load the truck, the estimated “usage” far exceeded the quoted space and time required because they didn’t know how to manage the “high and tight/puzzle” concept to minimize space usage. I think they “learned” from the experience, but it was a very stressful and unnecessarily burdensome experience for me and my family. I had used the UPack and Hite helper service 2x previously and had very skilled teams for those projects and that’s how I became familiar with the high and tight skilled model. Asvnoted, they were very nice and worked hard, but I wouldn’t recommend them for this service until they improve their skills.
We would like to provide some additional context regarding this project. This move was scheduled on short notice after another moving company was unable to complete the service. When our crew arrived, they began loading based on the information provided at the time. It was not initially communicated that the UPack trailer space was being billed by the linear foot and that minimizing used space was a primary concern.
Once this was brought to the team's attention, they immediately adjusted their loading strategy. At that point, the crew was only approximately four feet into the trailer, and only boxes had been loaded. The necessary adjustment and reorganization took approximately 10 minutes to complete before the team proceeded with the remainder of the load according to your preferences.
After that brief adjustment, the move continued smoothly. The crew worked diligently, provided progress photos throughout the process, and remained committed to ensuring your items were loaded safely and efficiently. Most importantly, the move was completed without any reported damages.
Additionally, although the job extended approximately two hours beyond the estimated timeframe, we did not charge for that additional labor time as a gesture of good faith and customer service.

V and Io did a very good job. They were on time and worked hard to get our furniture and boxes of the truck as quickly as possible. They were very respectful and polite and even funny at times. They took care not to ding our freshly painted house and that was much appreciated. They were patient with us when we had to take a minute to determine where to place an item. We would definitely hire them again.
