Jean did a great job, but communication was horrible. I received a call from Adriana 15 minutes after the window that movers were supposed to arrive in that they'd be late. The estimate given was over an hour later, and once they finally arrived, there was only one mover. The second mover didn't arrive until about 45 minutes after the first and then he left about an hour early, leading to me only having one mover for half the service and as a result, needing to fill the role of a second mover that I had paid for.
Between terrible communication and the service I paid for not being provided, I can't recommend them and would never use them again.

These 2 professionals were AMAZING!! They got the 2 hours I had asked for DONE in 1 hour!! They were very careful handling large heavy furniture up a sizable set of stairs. I'm going to be able to sleep in my new home because of these great movers!

The two guys that moved me were nice and respectful to me and my things. However, they were about four hours late. I understand that things happen, but to not reach out to your customer explaining the situation that has delayed your scheduled appointment is very bad business to say the least. Not to mention the stress, anxiety and panic that was put upon me not knowing if or when someone would arrive as planned. To make matters worse, I called the two contacts that were given to me at the time I placed my order, but every time I dialed their numbers the line immediately hung up. No one from this company bother to contact me to explain their delay. Therefore, I contacted Nicholas from Hire A Helper and he tried contacting them, but all he got was a busy signal. Eventually, and after many attempts to get a response from them they finally gave him information that they were on the way. But, by this time I had began moving pretty much all of my smaller more manageable items by myself. I even contacted other help via an app called “Nextdoor” for help with the last of my heavier things. But, finally they arrived before someone else answered back. Adriana (my contact person) is not a good business person and does not take care of her customer. To this day she has not bothered to reach out to me to explain or apologize for anything. If it were not for Nicholas at hire a helper I have no doubt that I would not have had any resolution to the tardiness of Black House Moving company.
