The guys of Bell Boys moving were great! Showed up on time, worked longer than I had estimated, and through periods of rain and snow (my move was in November.) Everything was unloaded and placed where I wanted it, and they were careful and courteous.
I highly recommend Bell Boys Moving, and would use them again if the need arose.
As for HireAHelper, in general, the process was good. I hired movers to load my stuff in one state, and another set of movers to unload my rental truck at the other end. All went according to plan except for a mistake made by someone at Hireahelper who mixed up my order with someone else's, so the billing got jumbled including the credit card (no personal information was jumbled, just the card used and I only saw the last 4 digits and type of card - a type I have never even had.) It took considerable time (over a month!) to get it all resolved, but finally Hireahelper credited me for part of my bill for the inconvenience and the trouble their mistake caused. Bell Boys had nothing to do with this mess - they completed the job and did a great job.

The guys showed up one and a half hours late. The minimum service charge is for two hours, and I knew it would only take about 30 minutes at most to get my stuff moved in and noted this when making the reservation. But because they were late, they were rushing, which resulted in my desk being broken, and a few nicer hangers- which was totally avoidable if both movers would have moved the desk instead of just one -- and had taken the time to move my items carefully. Again- I paid 2 hours worth of help, for a 30 minute job, which resulted in my stuff being broken. I wouldn't use bell boys moving again.
