I want to start by saying the movers themselves were hardworking, friendly, and fast. They handled most of my items with care and made the moving process much less stressful overall. However, I unfortunately can’t give a glowing review due to a major issue — they dropped and broke my 65-inch TV right in front of me and my mom.
Accidents happen, but what made this experience especially disappointing was the way the claim was handled. I was only offered a fraction of the replacement cost, and the response felt dismissive given the circumstances. It didn’t feel fair or professional, especially when I trusted them to move my belongings safely.
So while I appreciate the effort the movers put in, I can’t fully recommend the company unless they improve how they resolve damage claims and take more accountability when things go wrong.

The team arrived on time used all of the supplies available like blankets tiedowns, etc. They worked with me to get as much into the pod as possible. The team was very friendly and professional. Would recommend and use them again.

The two young men who helped load my cubes were truly amazing! They were strong, efficient, and made all my items fit into the two cubes with some extra room. And they loaded everything in less than 2 hours—I recommend them highly!

I liked the guys who packed my POD in California but waited until I received my furniture in Colorado before I wrote my review. Several of my expensive pieces of furniture were significantly damaged when they arrived and it appears it was a direct result of Excellent Movers (solid wood dining table, zero gravity chair, dresser, headboard). My prize possession in my solid, raw edge dining table. I sent them photos of the table ahead of time, and explained I wanted it moved with a trolly, as to not damage it. They didn't use a trolly and actually dropped it in the street in front of the POD. They then proceeded to pack multiple boxes on top of it, even though I asked them not to. Sure enough - the table legs were cracked upon arrival in Denver. HireAHelper denied my claim stating I did not provide enough blankets for the move. Even though I had blankets, towels, AUGO Ratchet Straps Heavy Duty 15 ft 2200 Lb and wrapped my table in blankets and bubble wrap prior to moving it. Nowhere on the website or in their communication did they state how many blankets were required but of course this is the reason they denied my claim. I would NOT recommend Excellent Movers or HireAHelper.
