The movers were polite, helpful and efficient. Items were wrapped to prevent damage and prevent doors or drawers from opening. They moved EVERYTHING, even loose items or items in baskets. I even had a collection of loose, large rocks and those were moved as well. They never once said they could not move something. Each member of the team was efficient and the truck was properly packed to fit in as many items as possible. The team leader informed me immediately that I would need a second trip and scheduled it for the next day, so I did not get an unpleasant surprise at the end of the day when all my items did not fit into the truck. Also, the team worked over the scheduled 5 hours without hesitation. I would highly recommend them and would use them again should I need services of a mover.

The movers showed up hours late with no notice of delay; the contact who was organizing the movers wasn't very responsive and . The movers didn't move all items instructed and when they reassembled the one loft bed (with dresser drawers, desk, closet and ladder), the wood frame was damaged and broken and pieces missing. Now the drawers don't fit the frame, the closet is unusable, and the brown wood exposed from being broken.
They also shattered one glass panel of a china cabinet (panel had a small lower piece broken off) when their shoulder went through the glass.
First you booked us after your first team didn't show up, we schedule your move in less than 24 hours, I told you the only time available after 3 pm but will do our best to make it before 3 pm.
Second movers finish their first job at 3 pm but you asked me to push the movers after 4:30 pm cause you need to pick up your daughter so we are not late and you have a notice already.
Third, all damages you mentioned I asked the team moved you, they said we didn't damage anything and you were happy and move finished at 9 PM..

After a totally miserable move by another company from out of state to a local storage unit, (with many pieces arriving chipped and scratched), Best Movers of VA did an excellent job bringing my things from storage to my home. They took the care to wrap all of my furniture and actually wrapped them for the quick 10 minute drive to my house. The last company I hired moved me from Hilton Head Island SC to VA for an 8 hour trip with no plastic wrap, no quilting, no blankets, no covers, or no care of any kind. They even stole $300 cash my husband left on the nightstand and his Ear Buds as soon as they entered the house!!!! After such a horrible move it was a welcome relief to find Best Movers. I highly recommend them.

The whole process went smoothly even though we were moving on Thanksgiving.
The movers came earlier than scheduled and were extremely professional. They came fully prepared with blankets, stretch wrap, tape, tools, etc.
They helped disassemble some furniture and professionally assembled them at the new place.
They were moving fast; however everything moved safe and sound.
I highly recommend Hire A Helper!
