So the move was last Saturday and it was a interstate move too and from, tight schedule and trying to keep the cost down. Never used Hire a helper before so didn’t know what to expect but the first company I tried through them was, to say the least not good at all, didn’t even get past the initial contact, so of course I’m very hesitant to keep on but being a little desperate I did and glad I did. Helping Hands showed up on time, more than prepared, professional, pleasant and hardworking, great kids (young people), great future ahead of them. I highly recommend HelpingHands from Eden Prairie and I myself will pass their name on. And so to “qualify” I have done several cross country and trans Atlantic moves. Many days have been lost from my life because of this. I could go on and on. Today, incompetence is tolerated and I, on the other hand, do not tolerate it. Great kids!

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
After booking with us you can expect a confirmation that will go over all the details of the job and make sure we are prepared for your move!
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
On the day of moving my crew will send an eta text letting you know how long it will take them to get there. Once they arrive they will do a walk through with you and you can show them what you are expecting to get done. My team lead will assess it and figure out how they can best get it done. They will make sure you are good with everything and see if you have any questions!
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
You can prepare by having all your boxes packed and sealed shut, have any furniture wrapped or secured tightly. We can assist with wrapping furniture if needed!
What types of moves have you handled?
We have done all sorts of moves. Anything from local, long distance, office moves, storage units, residential, warehouse and much more. We have seen it all!
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
Our favorite part about being movers is meeting new people all the time. I love getting to make connections with people and being there to support them on such a special day. Moving can be an amazing thing and a hard thing for some, so I love being the one to make the process as easy and as relaxing as it can be.
What training do you provide your crew members?
Our crew members receive an online course that shows them the basics of how to properly lift and handle peoples belongings. We then bring them on a job to shadow our team lead and watch the correct way to get things done. Once they have an understanding we will get them on a smaller job where they can start slow and ask questions. The more practice the better they can get!
