Moving team was polite and in T-shirt uniforms. I paid for two hours and they finished in half the time. I initially was thrilled their efficiency and then took a closer look at their work. The POD was loaded such that heavy items were crushing light items. It took us 4 hours to unpack and repack the back half of the pod to rescue a table that was buckled under the weight of boxes placed on top of it. One of the guys actually stood on the table to hoist an oversized carpet and pad up to the top of the pile.
We found gaps in the middle of the load that would have unseated items that were stacked. Boxes were already caving in after only an hour in the POD. Multiple Heavy carpets were stuffed at the top of the POD… too big for us to reposition and we are at the mercy of gravity at this point. Fragile pictures were shoved into the mix and were bowed under the weight of other items. Luckily not ruined before we pulled them out and placed differently.
I provided UHaul blankets for additional padding and found a few unused and still in their plastic wrap.
I provided 20 ratchet straps to secure “walls” of boxes…. Only 4 were used and they were all assembled incorrectly. Henri is selling his service as an expert POD mover and he is not qualified.
I incorrectly assumed the service providers had been fully vetted by PODS and your service- these workers were strong but had no idea how to effectively pack the container. I fully anticipate that the POD contents will shift in transit we will have at least half the container significantly damaged due to incorrect loading.
NEVER AGAIN!!!
The order you wanted items put into POD, against our judgment, caused heavier items to go in too late.
We are experienced movers and have plenty of great reviews praising our POD packing skills.

We will call and thank you for choosing us for your move and answer any questions you may have. We will follow up with you the day before and give you a call when we are on the way to you on moving day.

We will arrive on time within delivery window delivery and listen to any instructions you may have.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Label any boxes or furniture that need extra care. If unloading, label which boxes go in which room and post notes for rooms (ex. Bedroom #1, Den, Dining, etc.)
