Done Right Movers

We showed up on the initial day of the job at the correct time. Customer was still sleeping, nothing was ready and he thought we were supposed to supply the truck. We are just a service provider and do not have trucks. We rescheduled the move for the next day at no charge. We drove an hour to get there and I didn't ask for anything. The customer did give us $30 which I gave to my helper because I wanted to pay him for his time. I told him that we would be there around 10am the following day. Got there at 10am and he still didn't rent the truck yet and everything was just like the day before. We had to move items off of every piece of furniture just to move them. Not one thing was packed (it was like he never knew we were coming that day!) We started working as soon as we arrived. Second floor apartment. We worked on the washer an dryer, got items down the tight stairway and had them staged for quick loading for when the truck arrived. The truck was too small but we managed to get most of the furniture on the truck. The only time we "sat around" was when you lost your phone and we waited for you to drive the truck to the storage facility. The second time we "sat around" was while you were in the facility because you still didn't rent one and had to do the paperwork. You had over 24 hours to get ready for your move, why is it our fault that you choose to do absolutely nothing to get ready! The total "sit around" time was only about 20 minutes.
The total time of the move was 3 1/2 hours for the loading and unloading (which is pretty quick for what we had to do!)
The customer lied and said his girlfriend would pay for additional one and a half hour because the credit card he initially used was maxed. She never paid and I had to pay my helper the overage out of my own pocket!

I did everything I possibly could to accommodate you! I can't believe that your saying that we only worked for an hour and a half moving and disassembling a washer and dryer, disassembled two beds, moved them down the small stairway along with two dressers, couch, loveseat, lg. chair along with other items, then loaded them on the truck, drove across town, waited for you to rent a unit and then unload the whole truck into the unit. Insane!

You still owe me the money!!! Pay for the hard work we did for you!!!
