This was an amazing experience. They were on time, well prepared, finished in less than 2 hours, took care of all of our stuff (asked questions), and I would hire them again in a heartbeat. I can’t say enough about the two gentleman who helped us move. Truly a blessing. I only caught one of their names in the process (shoutout Steve!!!!), but if you see this YOU GUYS ARE AMAZING!!!!!!

One of our movers came with a bad attitude from the beginning. He barely communicated, rolled his eyes, made faces and grunts. He also worked extremely slowly and inefficiently. It took our movers NINE hours to complete the job - move out and in. I expected 4-5 hours including travel, but nine was simply absurd, and it drastically increased our bill. At some point I began to help the movers to bring things out of the truck and up to my apartment. To be clear, only one mover was actually making trips up and down the steps with items (poor guy) while the other slowly took one item at a time from the truck to the steps. In the end I unloaded and carried up probably just under 1/3 of the truck myself. I payed for this service but had to do a lot of the work myself anyway. If I hadn’t done it they would have been there for hours. In the process of moving, the movers broke numerous items (mostly glass items which were in boxes labeled “fragile—glass”), scratched up wooden items and our apartment’s floors, bent metal objects, and lost pieces. One mover even ripped open my mattress protector to grab into my actual mattress, which left it with dirt and sweat stains, defeating the purpose of the cover. Some glass items that broke had liquids in them than stained and damaged other items - for example, a title of vinegar was broken. Sometimes I would even see the mover with the bad attitude scrolling on his phone when nobody was looking. In the end, when all was finally finished, I walked downstairs to take my book-bag out of my uhaul and to give my movers a tip, but before n could even offer it, they came up to me and ASKED for a tip, which I think is in quite bad form. All in all it was a terrible experience that ate away at my time, physical energy, and wallet. I’ll hire out elsewhere next time even if it’s pricier — at least I know I’ll get the service I’m paying for and not have to step in again. I’ll be calling to lodge a complaint as well.
Edit: I also just discovered that a bottle of liquor is missing — a $50 bottle of kahlua — it was in the same box as the broken vinegar, so I assume it was also broken and, since the bottle is nowhere to be found, I can only imagine that the movers must have hidden it. Majorly disappointing and angering.

They were on time but didnt really come with the right attitude. Neither wore a uniform or anything identifing them as movers and once finished complained they still had to finish off the hour. They did the job but the atitdude left me feeling bad for hiring them.
