Moved to a small country town, there are no movers here. I am disabled and had no help to fill a 2 bedroom apartment. I also had 1 day to pick up a whole house full of furniture from the store I had just purchased it from. Everyone moving company was 1 hour or more away and wanted me to pay more for the move (less than 2 miles) than what my furniture costs, also it was the weekend and Noone would come on Friday with such short notice. I called Hired Helper and they came right over the next day, gave me a fair price and when they told me the time they would be here; they actually arrived even earlier than appointment time for my convenience. These movers were prompt, efficient, courteous, Respectful,and Quick at their job. They even helped me install a disabled handle bar for my bathtub and helped me hang up my pictures. Knowing I am disabled and it would have been a difficult task. If ever you need THE BEST , FORGET THE REST AND CALL HIRED HELPERS MOVERS!!! I would recommend this company to EVERYONE!! I will definately call THIS COMPANY EVERYTIME!!! THANKS ?? HIRED HELPERS FOR EVERYTHING!!!

The team did a good job moving my items in to the storage facility. They completed the job in a timely manner. I would consider using them again.

Overall, pretty disappointed with the service I received. The job was done, which I’m grateful for, but it was far from professional.
Of two workers hired to complete my small move, one mover showed up close (15 mins late) to the scheduled arrival time. The second worker showed up an hour late.
The first mover was very friendly and worked hard to make up for the absence of his colleague- however I ultimately had to step in myself along with a friend to ensure the move was completed on time. I had no interaction with the second mover and he only worked about 35-40 minutes after arriving.
I was still charged the full rate despite receiving a partial experience. I can’t and won’t recommend this company.

I was very impressed with these two young men. They were on time, jumped right in, and accomplished everything I wanted done in good time. Most of the items were antique and they took very good/gentle care to ensure their safety. I would absolutely use HireAHelper again.
I will add that my two wheeled dolly went missing after these two left. I can’t prove they took it but it walks and talks like a duck. My point is to be vigilant whenever you have strangers working in your home.
We left with the same dolly we took to the job. There was a two wheel dolly in the garage and it was still standing in the garage when we left. I hope you find it. Please also do us a favor to update the review whenever you find it. Thanks.

Your team was on time. Excellent attitudes. Very organized in their approach to unloading and sorting items as directed. Swept trailer after unloading and inquired if there was any additional assistance we required. Your team treated us as a valued long term customer, not just a fleeting opportunity for income.
