The gentlemen came on time and ready to work. We anticipated needing to have them for an additional hour and they were able to complete the job in under an hour. They were pleasant and respectful. We plan on using them again. I would recommend them gladly.

Our other movers were no-shows and luckily Chaz and crew saved us! They showed up within an hour, moved quickly and had us all packed with time to spare. They were polite and made sure they packed what we needed (since we realized our truck was too small). I would highly recommend them and would use them again!

This is the 4th time I used Hire a Helper for a move and the second time I used Chaz & Crew. Without a doubt, they are the hardest group of guys I've ever met. Professional, courteous, careful with my belongings, and fast! A job I know would've taken me a day to complete, they finished in 2 hrs flat! I highly recommend them and will hire them again for anything I might need the extra muscle for in the future. Great job guys!

The guys were very nice, however, there were several issues with the move. To start, we scheduled the movers to begin at 8am and then realized they could only promise a start time between 8am-9am. They didn't show up until 9am. While friendly, they sent three staff members when we only paid for two. At least one of them was a smoker who left cigarette butts in the yard of our rental property. They worked quickly but damaged furniture and the floors in the process. Nothing major but nicks and scratches that are noticeable. They weren't able to fit all of our furniture on the truck which is hard to say if that is our failure for not reserving a big enough truck or how the truck was packed. The real issue was when they arrived at our new property to unload they insisted on turning the moving truck around to back it up to the front path. My husband voiced his concerns about doing so since the house is at the top of the hill and he wasn't comfortable maneuvering the truck but they insisted and offered to do it themselves. They proceeded to get the truck stuck in the grass pinned against a tree. The truck wasn't budging and so they were forced to unload the truck from that position which was now 30 ft further from the door than had they left it where it was. After unloading all of our things they attempted to get the truck out. Nothing worked and we eventually determined we would have to call a tow truck. This cost us an additional $245 which was certainly not part of our plan for the day. Thankfully there was no damage to the truck (phew!) or the tree but mild rut marks in the grass. They apologized repeatedly but we would not recommend or use this company again.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
Our service is designed to help you move your items while saving you lots of money. You supply the truck and pack up your boxes while We do all the heavy lifting. We'll professionally load & unload including any assembly or disassembly. We bring tools, dollies and moving blankets. We ALWAYS show up and work hard.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
The customer will get a call on the day of the move when we are en route to their location. If, for any reason, we are running behind our agreed upon arrival window, the customer will know well in advance and will be given an updated ETA.
What types of moves have you handled?
We've handled every time of move you could imagine: long distance moves, local moves, moving items within a home or apartment, office moves, furniture assembly, and everything in between.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
At CHAZ & CREW, we take great pride in taking what is typically an extremely stressful situation, and making it go incredibly smoothly. We hear a lot of horror stories about other movers from our customers, so it's always exciting when, once the move has been completed, our customers tell us "this went better than I could have hoped!"
