Jason and Charles arrived at the designated time and, after introducing themselves and reviewing the job with me, they immediately went to work unloading the two PODS. They were very careful with the furniture and, without hesitating they assembled the beds and other items that required it. Both men acted in a very professional and caring manner and our interaction with them was an experience one seldom finds in today's society. I wouldn't hesitate for one second to hire them again or for any job they could handle. On any scale they deserve the highest score. Doug H

Elite said the movers would arrive between 10-11am. They came at 9. I did not get the U-haul until 10:30, but they started charges at 10:00 while they sat on the front porch talking to my wife. We were finished loading at 11:30. Drove 3 miles to the destination to unload. At 1:30 one of the workers said he had to leave for another job. So both workers quit, as one of them had to give the other one a ride to his other job. The clock continued to run at my expense while they were gone= 30 minutes. Now I have 1 mover to try to finish the move. If one of my friends hadn't came to help, it would have been fun to watch 1 worker try to unload the remaining contents, mostly furniture. There were excessive breaks- drinks and cigarettes. So I feel I was overcharged for the service I received and if I padded hours like that when I was employed, I would have been fired. I cant say I would recommend Elite moving service after this experience.

Amazing guys, would hire again if I never needed them. Friendly, helpful and even gave me rope when I didn't have any. Seriously hire these guys.

The movers did a good job, they were nice and easy to work with. Unfortunately they went to the wrong address and were over an hour late, also there was a language barrier. I thankfully speak Spanish but the movers spoke very little English and if my husband (non-Spanish speaker) was the only one there they would have struggled.
On top of all of that they showed up with 1 dolly and no packing materials, no plastic wrap. When I told them that the hire a helper website said that the would bring at least plastic wrap, they said “We don’t have a truck and all they sent us with was a car and it doesn’t fit in there?”
Luckily I had tape and my own moving blankets as well as an extra dolly which they ended up using. While they worked hard and were respectful you could tell they had little experience and I had to tell them several times to be careful and wrap an item so it wouldn’t get damaged.
Overall we got most of the move done and they even made it up to me for being late by helping me deliver a couch to my neighbors house. It’s hard to say if I use them again but I definitely ask more questions and get clarification prior to booking.

We had a fabulous experience with Hire a Helper. The communication was friendly efficient and flexible. The gentleman that moved our furniture into our townhouse were awesome. They worked hard and were very careful in the moving is in.
They even went as far as to fold up all of our moving blankets and wrapped up all the ratchet straps.
I will be using these guys again and you should too
