Gil, the team leader called about 45 minutes in advance of the scheduled time to say they would be on their way shortly. They arrived exactly at 11 am as scheduled. Gil and his partner Juan inspected the furniture to be moved from the house to storage on the property. the move went smooth and quick, very satisfied. Both men were polite, friendly and professional, I highly recommend them for your job.

First of all I paid for 3 guys for 3 hours. They were supposed to show up between 8 and 9 am. They didn’t show up until 4:50pm and it was only 2 men who didn’t speak English and only worked for about 2 hours. I received a call after 9am explaining that one of the guys was in a car accident and I was asked if I wanted the 2 guys to come while they looked for an additional guy to fill the third spot or if I wanted to wait until a whole crew was available. I was under the impression that I’d get 3 guys so I said I would wait until a full crew was available. I was assured that 3 guys would come later to do the job. I never got a call back until I called hire a helper.com and complained. Then I was told the crew would arrive between 3-4pm. Then I received a call saying they would arrive no later than 4:30pm. Two guys finally showed up at 4:50pm. They helped unload the trailer but didn’t understand English and my son, husband and father did most of the work. It was ridiculous. I do not recommend them. The whole experience was a nightmare. I understand accidents happen but the communication with me as a customer could have been a lot better. If I knew I was only getting 2 guys I would have told her to send them at 8am still instead of waiting all day. Even hire a helper was not helpful during this entire situation. I lost money because these guys didn’t do the job correctly.

They were great. Appeared on time. The only ding is not checking every closet and backyard. I moved a few heavy things the next day.

This was not a good experience. They came with one dolly, did not know how to use the ratchet straps. (My wife had to show them how to use them), and could not understand them on the phone. Could not speak clear English. Will never use this service again. Not sure who hires these workers, but you may want to rethink your process.

We could not communicate at all with the two men who came to load our POD as they spoke no English and did not appear to be very experienced. This created a great deal of frustration and delays. I had to literally show them what to do or I just did it myself. I would not recommend Elite Moving Service at all and won’t use them on the follow up move in.
