The crew that came out was amazing. They did a wonderful job packing for us in the heat of the day in Phoenix. Could not recommend them enough. Best experience we have had hiring movers to help pack.

I think that the 2 guys that they sent were a little new to the job. There were a few pieces of furniture that they dragged on the floor instead of lifting it and moving it over. On the plus side they were on time, worked the whole time that they were here and they followed instructions well.

Did not listen to customer instructions about loading truck and after they left we spent two more hours fixing their mistakes so the load would be secure during 300 mile trip.
Example: invisible until full unload.:They inverted the loveseat on top of the sofa (normally ok practice), but left large wooden feet from loveseat onto the back of the inverted loveseat, then piled tabletop on it and an inverted dresser on top of that, resulting in a distended and scratched section of the back of the leather loveseat. Would not rehire.

Only 3 out of 4 guys I requested showed up, but they are so skilled they didn’t need #4. Shout out to the crew I had; those guys did great.

The three guys sent by Hire a Helper were careful and hard-working and good at their job. I scheduled them for three hours but the job took four, and they were willing to stay until the end to finish the work. Of course, the company charges for the extra hour, but that was very reasonable. I would hire them again.

I specifically stated to the supervisor/dispatcher that I just had bad service with the loaders and didn't want to repeat the same with the unloaders. She promised me it would be better. I scheduled a move for 2 hours and 3 men, but 2 men showed up. They were on time, but HORRIBLE service. This was after the previous HORRIFIC service. The same thing repeated, one of the movers was ill. Before they touched anything, they asked for water. Then they proceeded to move a couple of items, then the ill mover repeatedly went to my restroom. I asked him what was wrong and his partner stated "He has a bad tooth (dental problems). He was in the bathroom constantly. I asked if he needed to go home, and he stated he was going to be ok, but continued to go to the bathroom. I called his supervisor and explained to her the situation and said I stated to you I didn't want to go through another bad move. She apologized and said she will see what is the problem. It was obvious she called because they went to my relative to ask what was the problem. She told them they were not moving and the guy needed to go home if he was hurting. The next, minute I saw him going to the restroom again, but didn't see the other mover. I asked where the other person and he said he went to the store to get water and coke. When he arrived, he smoke a cigarette. I was not happy at all. I call the lady again and she stated she was going to send another crew. An hour and a half later the new movers came (Valentino). He got out of the car, put his brace on, and pulled two pullies out of the car. Now, I was feeling relieved. He introduce himself and proceeded to move and instruct the others on what to do. He was awesome. He emptied the truck in thirty minutes. My stress level was extremely high, but when Valentino came he made it all better. I tipped him and thank him highly. After all of that, she still wanted to charge me 3 hours for 3 men. After talking with the owner of Hire a helper, to let him know I wasn't going to pay for 3 hours, he ask the lady and she agreed to 2 hours. This move was from hell. Very unsatisfied with the service.
