Called them on a very short notice and everyone i dealt with bent over backwards to help me! The crew arrived on time(ish), introduced the whole team, and surveyed the project. They brought their own tools and equipment. Long story short they did an awesome job, worked every second they were here ( no breaks) and got the job done in exactly the right amount of time. I will be using them again in a year when my lease ends and i purchase a home!

Great workers, punctual, respectful and knowledgable. Our truck was filled to capacity and they worked very hard to fit everything into place so that we could take all our possessions in one load as we were moving from Florida to Virginia. We would highly recommend this service.

They were on time, respectful, fast, and took excellent care of my things.
The pod was too small for all my stuff and these guys went way above and beyond helping me to fit as much as humanely possible. They were very patient and just overall nice guys.
I never write reviews but was so impressed with these guys, I had to recommend them!!!
Wish I could hire them on the other end to unload - hope to find someone even half as good!

The two workers - Billy & Tom - were great!! They arrived exactly on time, got right to work, and were very organized and thorough. The day they came to help my husband in dismantling larger furniture items (pool table, dining room table, etc.) and pre-stage boxes and furniture into our garage. Saturday they are coming back again to load a POD for us. I would most definitely recommend Family Movers - their workers are courteous, knowledgeable about their trade, and were a HUGE help to us!!

The movers did a fantastic job. Helped me open a paint can so I could make a quick touch up before installing my washer/dryer. I had been trying to days to open the can. They were very careful with my furniture, were prompt and tidy. I highly recommend their services!

Have boxes packed, the furniture cleared off.
What types of moves have you handled?
We are both labor and full service, for commercial, and residential. We also work for a Restoration company. We do a lot of Fire, Water, Mold where we clear out effected homes, then when the work in the home is done, we move it all back in. And set things back up.

Basic lifting techniques, communication between Movers, proper packing and padding techniques...
