I had a lot of problems with the guys who showed up listening to me. It was only a partial move and several times they took my roommates stuff to the truck and loaded it after they had been told several times that there was only a specific area in my house they were to move things from
Secondly, I asked the guy packing the truck to leave about 5 ft of space so I could pack some of my more fragile things that I did t want to movers to pack. The guy insisted that “there was only one way to pack a truck” and “that he had to pack it to the back.” Both understandable but he didn’t listen to me when I said I would be packing it to the back.
I also told him several times that I would be unpacking the truck by myself yet he continued to put the dolly and large chairs high in the truck even through he knew I wouldn’t be able to get it down by myself (I’m only 5ft tall).
When I got to my destination, a lot of my furniture was scratched and damaged because moving blankets were not used properly and he slid plastic totes across it without proper protection. His “one proper way to pack a truck” shifted a lot in transition which led to further damage.
I have hired several movers before and have never had an issue. Most of the stuff packed moved across the country with me with no damage, but couldn’t go an hour the way he packed it without having to be thrown out because of how damaged it was after the move.
Because they did not listen, and my property was damaged before they left my house I would not use them again.

These guys did an excellent job unloading my moving truck. Very fast and very efficient.

The helpers were on time and worked efficiently and quickly. The concerns came in how they packed our belongings. The truck was not packed carefully, heavier items on top of lighter items. Also placed a lawnmower on its side which caused an oil leak.

Both men were very polite. The older man was very knowledgeable about what to do, the younger man not as knowledgeable but quickly understood what needed to be done. The guys that came to my house to help with my move were professional and I could not of completed my move with out them. They were early, called me to let me know what time they would arrive. They had all of my stuff in the correct rooms with out any damage to my house or furniture.
