I am the Owner and Executive Director of GR8LABOR, a moving and general labor company that assists the community in locating dependable and reasonably priced moving services. Due to a scheduling error (Hireahelper's fault) the company that initially had accepted my job was not actually available to assist me in my move. GR8LABOR, to their credit, was able to come help even though it was last minute notice.
While filling out the application w/ hireahelper, I noted the number of stair cases involved in the move. I assumed that they would use that info when quoting me a price. When GR8LABOR arrived and saw that there were stairs involved, they said that there is an extra charge. There may be communication issue between hireahelper and gr8labor. Watch for that.
I have used a few other moving companies in the past. As far as the movers themselves, these guys were great guys. In order to rate them higher, I would have liked to see them use tools and techniques I have seen used by other moves which decrease the likely hood of damage to property. (To be fair, they did not damage any of my property.)

Michael, the helper, was on time and provided great service and we got done early.
However, their working "radius" according to HireAHelper.com, as well as the estimated price, was not accurate and I was charged an additional fee for gas to/from my location.
I would recommend GR8Labor but also recommend calling them directly rather than going through this website.

That our team will call 30minutes or more before arrival and movers will be on time.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
The more organize the better the move will go if they have any questions our team is just a phone call away and will answer any question they may have. So the can rest assure they will have a great move.
What types of moves have you handled?
We have done alot of moves over the years local mostly some long distance even office moves. We have loaded and unload hundreds of pods and ABF trailers and so on. You name it we probably moved it pianos gun safes. Book us today thank you in advance for the business. Corporate moves and commercial moves are something we specialize in also thank you!
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
Meeting new people everyday and just being able to help people with something they couldn't do without us because we are the pros and we love what we do.
What training do you provide your crew members?
We provide our crew with an extensive 20 hour mover training course which is industry standard. After training the trainee will be with one of our vet who has 10 years or more experience in the moving industry who can lead and guide our trainees in the right direction.
