We moved into our new home in Carrollton, GA (from Pennsylvania) over the July 4th week/weekend--so very hectic and stressful. Helping Hand Movers were wonderful! They confirmed the move several days ahead of time and arrived early. I can't say enough about these three gentlemen who helped move items from our 26 foot UHaul into our house (one flight of stairs). We have some very heavy items such as an elliptical (that my husband and I couldn't even budge), treadmill, washer, dryer, and super-heavy king size bed--all moved into our house with ease. They were quick, courteous, and friendly. I highly recommend them!

My experience with your movers was not great.
First of all, I was never called to confirm the appointment. I notified your company of this. Then I called the movers several times, finally getting a return call around 11pm Saturday night. The man said he would call me the day before the move (6/19), no call.
The movers were supposed to show up between 10 and 11 on Tuesday, 6/20. At 0930 I got a call saying they would arrive at 1018. At 1121, they did arrive. By this time, I had already loaded half of the 17 foot truck myself. So they loaded the other half and we were off to unload. The persons were not as gentle to my items as I would have liked.
Around 143 pm we were done unloading, we. These guys assumed we were done, even though the 4 hours I had paid for was not fulfilled. I know I sent the text messages authorizing payment, but when you have three men standing there, obviously not going to do any further work, and they happen to know you new address, it just made sense to end this ordeal. I was also encouraged to provide 5 star ratings prior to this groups departure.
So, I paid for 3 movers, for 4 hours and got 3 movers for about 2.5 hrs, I loaded over half of the truck myself, and now need to unwrap and inspect several items to ensure that they do not need to be repaired.
The service advertised sounds great, the service delivered from this particular affiliate leaves a lot to be desired.

Such a great team. A little late on arrival, but stayed late to get the job done. Incredibly respectful, helpful, kind and caring young men. Highly recommended!!!! I'm NEVER moving again, but will tell EVERYONE about them.

The only constructive criticism I would offer was regarding one of the workers. He came on the job apparently quite exhausted and it showed. At one point he was sitting a chair to be loaded, looking like he was sleeping. Also, in the latter part of the day, he began to attempt to grab boxes with one hand and the when the tape began to tear, he stopped. Some of those boxes had valuable items in them. All in all, Quashad was awesome and the guy that went by "Tay" was very good too. I just wouldn't want the other guy on any jobs. Thanks.

Arrived promptly and good communications to confirm. Did a great job moving a cast iron tub for me. Very friendly and helpful. Would hire again.

Very poor packing onto the truck and minimal use of protection pads on furniture resulting in damaged furniture as well as lots of space is left open by not stacking boxes properly. Will not be using them ever again!!!

They showed up on time and even stayed over to complete the job. We hired 4 movers and every single one worked very hard to get our things moved. We were dreading this move because we knew it would be a difficult move but Helping Hands made it so much easier on us. We would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone!
