I was initially wondering how did Foster's Moving Service have such a high rating such as 4.9/5. I chose them since they offered the best price here at Rochester, NY. But they were actually so good, and completed the moving much earlier then we expected. The men who came were very strong and polite, and often singlehandedly lifted the items which require about 3 normal people to lift, and hence completed the work much faster (just in 1.5 hours), while we were initially wondering if it was possible to finish the work within 2 hours.
In fact the mover also brought 3 men instead of 2, while I booked only for 2, and told me that they would work without any extra charge, and he brought the additional person just to assist me, since the house we had to shift between had a difficult logistic. I would surely recommend them, for anyone who is looking for moving labor services out there.

They arrived and finished the job on time but didn't do a good job of loading and packing the container. When I opened the container I saw that many boxes had toppled and mattresses had fallen on other goods. A lamp broke along with the wheels of my office chair. My furniture has scratches as well. I can't recommend them.

Cecil and Alan (not sure of spelling, could be Allen) worked continuously without a break for the entire time they were here. They lifted & moved large pieces of furniture with relative ease & assembled all furniture that had been loaded into the POD in 2 or more pieces. They were respectful and helpful throughout the process. I will definitely use them again on my next POD.

Fosters Moving was a great choice! Cecil and Paul notified me ahead of their arrival and greeted me with a smile. They moved some furniture out of the house for donation prior to the larger job of unloading a PODS container. They followed all directions and placed boxes in the correct rooms. Many boxes needed to go upstairs and Paul was like an athlete meeting a challenge! He could really lift heavy boxes and more than one box at a time! Cecil was fast with unloading the POD to get things into the house. They were careful with furniture and stairs and doors. Everything was accomplished within the 2-hour window. Best of all… they had great attitudes! Great experience - I would use them again!

I cannot stress how convenient and helpful Cecil was. The two of them immediately got to work and had 2 large cars filled with boxes in under an hour. They lifted huge ACs and a heavy desk like they were made of feathers.
On top of just being amazing at their jobs, they were both so friendly, kind, and respectful- especially with COVID restrictions.
I hope to never move again, since I hate unpacking, but if I do, Cecil is my first call.
