The movers showed up on time and were ready to go. We got it done much faster than I expected, even when the couch had to be carried up four flights of stairs. It was such a relief to have their help.

That had to refuse job at first because they didn't have works to cover the slot, but they contacted us and scheduled a time that would work.

They arrived 10 mins early. They were prepared. They removed the articles rapidly, stored them carefully in our van. At the storage site, they carefully placed the articles in the unit.
They were pleasant and respectful.
Definitely would use them again!!!!!

They ran late but the kept us updated. I hired 2 guys but they showed with 4 guys to help the move go smoother. Polite respectful went over and beyond to help us out. unloaded the truck swept the truck out and brought the items we needed right now to my car. I most definitely would recommend them plan on using them again.

They were a no show and provided absolutely no communication that they wouldn't be able to make it. I ended up moving 1/3 of the stuff on my own before we finally made contact that night and they agreed to come first thing the next day.
The reason I'm giving them 3 stars instead of 2 (or 1), they at least committed to showing up first thing the next day to help me finish moving the rest of my stuff. They were very polite and apologetic when they showed up. And honestly, they did a nice job of getting everything into our house with care.
I understand that these are trying times for all small business and everyone is trying to do their best given the circumstances. Simply communicating with me on the days leading up to the move would have been appreciated instead of only making contact 6 hours after they were supposed to have shown.

Responsive, show up on time and have the knowledge of how to pack things so they don’t shift in transit. Second time I’ve used them. Would highly recommend.

They did a good job, but were poorly prepared by Hire-a-Helper, as they didn’t bring all that was needed, and what I had outlined in my initial query, which delayed the job. And it was a simple request: bring a low profile dolly. After they went out to find one, the move was easy.

Pleasant, professional, very cooperative. Worked efficiently and got tons to fit into our small packing cube. A giant Tetris game. 4 stars because they were delayed over an hour, which caused our loading to be partly in the afternoon rains. Most unfortunate. They did call, however, to keep us informed about delay. Very helpful.
