We provided moving truck by using UHaul. We picked it up and was at the loading residence at 10:45am. The two men arrived together an hour and five minutes late. Upon arrival they introduced themselves to my son and daughter who was outside when they arrived. They then came in and walked around to take a look at the items to be moved and made a game plan on loading. They started loading items according to their plan. Throughout loading which took around 3 1/2 hours there was a few times they would be gone and my daughter caught them standing and talking on the truck. We departed from old residence and prior to departing the mover advised my 13 year old grand daughter they would be stopping at a gas station on their way to the new residence. I drove the UHaul to my new residence while my daughter went and grabbed dinner for us and has receipt for transaction for time of 3:13pm. My daughter made it to the new residence and we sat and ate our dinner. At this time the movers still had not arrived to unload. I texted them at 4:26pm and asked if they were having trouble finding our new residence to which they replied no they were in route and approx. 12 min away and they would deduct this break from the clock. Shortly after they arrived and started the unload. Prior to starting I advised I thought that the best way to get washer and dryer in would be to bring it in the side entrance which come straight in the laundry room. The head mover said they would do it last and unloaded the washer and dryer in the front porch due to it being the last thing loaded from old residence. Overall unloading seemed to have went smoothly and while they unloaded I ran and picked up internet equipment while my daughter stayed and advised what rooms everything went in. It took them until 7:45ish to finish unloading and at one point my daughter caught them sitting on the truck for approx. 20 min talking. After they finished I was then approached and advised that the order had been closed out but we owed for an additional 2 hours. My daughter questioned them due to the fact of an hour late arrival and approx. 1.5 hour break, when she asked he said well I subtracted the 15 min for the break, we ordered our food and ate on the way. She advised them that it was definitely longer than 15 min so he deducted an additional 30 min, then requested the additional $127.50 via Venmo. We provided blankets and hand-truck for use. When I got home my living room was just a pile of my couch pieces and cushions that they took apart to move but didn’t put back together. I then started a walk through and started to unwrap blanketed furniture I found 5 damaged items. Overall I was not very pleased with my experience. My daughter also walked in in a conversation the movers were having and heard the head mover state “well that’s how it should be but they are being lazy and want us to do all the work” This was unacceptable they were hired because I am about to have neck surgery and we didn’t have anyone able to help us move. Honestly I would not use them or recommend them to anyone due to my poor experience.

They were a little late but had contacted me telling us they were running late and they then arrived when they said.
When Chris first arrived he walked through and looked at everything and assessed how they would do it, what would be packed first, etc. He was very methodical and we could tell he had done this before. He worked very hard the entire time he was here. I don’t know if he took a break at all.
All four took good care of our things and made sure nothing was dropped or hit walls or door frames. The other three definitely did not work as hard as Chris and probably could have worked faster had they not stood around and talked so much.
We would hire Chris again and because he is the owner and hires the others I imagine he will make sure the others work harder next time. We had a lot of stuff and we were worried as we saw it all being staged outside before it was loaded if it would all fit. With lots of rearranging throughout the day Chris made it work and that meant everything!

While we provide excellent hands on training and guidance for all of our crew, we only hire experienced movers most of whom were co workers when i got my start over 10 years ago. Lead crew members with several years of experience and knowledge to share and learn.
