Unfortunately, I had a horrible experience with this moving company. They said they would arrive between 11 and 12, and then the time got moved to 12 and 1. One of the movers sadly got into a car accident on his way over, so the owner had to scramble to find a replacement for him.
One man arrived at 1:19, another at 2:15, another at 2:45 and the owner sent a fourth person at 3:20 to compensate for the inconvenience.
One of the movers was taking a personal call on speaker phone with one hand while using his other hand to stack boxes. I witnessed a bin and several boxes fall. Another mover said he was an I.T. guy and not really a mover.
They did not have any cloths to lay down to protect the floors.
This was not the experience I was hoping for after going through a move. I wish I had spent more time looking into other moving options.

To compensate for the delays and to be sure there were no further complications, we dispatched a fourth crew member at no additional charge. Saving her hundreds in the cost of the additional crew member but also another $195 in an additional hour it wouldâve taken the crew with one less member. She didnât seem to care much that we basically took a loss on the service saving her around $400 nor the well being of the crew member that was involved in the wreck. No she wanted all her money back and instantly.

Itâs important to note that no issues or concerns were raised during or immediately after the service. However, once a third partyâspecifically, the customerâs daughterâarrived, the tone of the interaction shifted. At that point, a full refund was demanded solely based on the crewâs delayed arrival.

When the refund was declined, new allegations were made regarding crushed boxes and damage to the hardwood flooring. No mention was made of having witnessed any mishandling during the move, and the damage describedâcrushed boxes due to improper stackingâis consistent with issues that can arise from box packing choices. As for the flooring, we offer protective floor runners upon request, but no such request was made for this job and her furniture was not wrapped with moving pads and stretch wrap which also protects your flooring as well as the furniture.

It sounds to me like she did not take proper care during the entirety of her moving process starting with poor planning and unfortunately ending with our company to catch all her grief as we are simply unloading her items that were packed by her and loaded by another company.

However, despite these allegations, we respectfully requested photo evidence of the supposed damages. Which is standard, we as well as our insurance company require photo evidence when filing a claim. The customer declined our request for photos.

Shame on anyone who would try to take advantage of a family owned and operated local small business in attempts to make a financial gain. We will not be intimidated with a bad review in exchange for money.

Two-man crew showed up on time and went right to work. Moved and placed stuff as I asked. Courteous and polite and efficient. Did not bang up any walls in a brand-new house. Gave them good tip.

Chris & crew were great. Worked hard & took direction & got everything into the house quickly. They took a well deserved 15 minute break when the rain began to pour down but continued throughout the intermittent light rain. I highly recommend them.

One Direction Moving really helped us out of a jam. Our original movers did not return the next day as planned. We waited all day, but they didn'y show. We were frustrated and unsure what to do.
One Direction Moving saved us. Chris and Connor showed up on a Sunday, expecting to work a couple of hours, but stuck with us for seven hours to get the job done. I would recommend them highly.

Have walk ways cleared and items packed or otherwise ready for service. Truck should be on site or otherwise arranged at time of arrival.

While we provide excellent hands on training and guidance for all of our crew, we only hire experienced movers most of whom were co workers when i got my start over 10 years ago. Lead crew members with several years of experience and knowledge to share and learn.
