We booked 3 movers for 2 hours and the service they provided for the price of $234 was excellent. Thai, Jay, and Eddie showed up on time and were ready to work. They loaded up a 26ft uhaul truck from a 4-bedroom townhouse which filled the truck about 80% full. We had everything already disassembled and I loaded some of the light boxes into the truck prior to them arriving and then the 4 of us were able to finish loading everything in 2 hours. Jay was in charge of packing the truck and he did an amazing job. Jay packed things from floor to ceiling using the space very effectively. But most importantly, pretty much everything made it to our final destination (7 hours away) in good condition! Also, Eddie worked especially hard and efficiently for the full 2-hours. My only small complaint/suggestion is that they could be a bit better at taking direction. I asked for them to move a couple heavy things first and they didn't. Also, Thai micro-managed the loading and at times made questionable choices like telling everyone to move the boxes down one flight of stairs and block the front door which caused a bottle-neck. Their pricing model is a bit odd where it is only $234 for the first 2 hours and then an additional $210 per hour after. It highly incentivizes them to take longer. I tried to set the pace and also told them that if they finished in 2 hours that I would give them a good tip and they did and so I did. There were only a couple small scrapes on the walls from the narrow turn on the staircase which we are having re-painted anyway. In the end they did a great job and the price was unbeatable.

How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Key Moverz’ Customers should have boxes taped, drawers in furniture should be taped or removed, elevators should be reserved and finally customer should be prepared to oversee and enjoy the service.
What types of moves have you handled?
Key Moverz have worked with 1000 sq ft office buildings,loft apartments, 4 story houses; while facing obstacles of broken elevators, dissemble furniture, small stairs and pets. Yet, we greet every job with a fresh mindset.

What training do you provide your crew members?
Key Crew members practice working as a team, practicing communication skills among each other as they guide furniture from the house. Also crew members are coached on keeping the house as well as the items in great condition whether moving out or moving.
