Thee guys never stopped moving in the 95+ degree Georgia heat. I am so grateful for the wonderful job.

I have used HireAHelper more than 12 times over the years and have consistently had excellent experiences, which is why this review is so disappointing to write.
I hired a crew of three movers to load a 26-foot moving truck and ultimately paid for four hours of labor. I fully expected my furniture to be protected, and I understand the need for moving blankets and plastic wrap when appropriate. My concern was not that they protected my belongings—it was the amount of progress that was made during the time I paid for.
The crew spent a significant amount of time wrapping furniture and applying plastic wrap before loading the truck. They also asked me to purchase additional plastic wrap and rent additional moving blankets because they did not have enough supplies. I did so because I didn't want a lack of supplies to delay the move.
One example that stood out involved four identical chrome-and-vinyl stools. The crew spent time wrapping two of them in moving blankets and plastic wrap before I questioned whether that level of protection was necessary. They then left the other two unwrapped. None of the stools were actually loaded by this crew—they were all loaded the following day by the second crew I had to hire. All four stools are currently in storage in good condition. That experience reinforced my concern that too much time was being spent wrapping items instead of making meaningful progress loading the truck.
After nearly two hours, very little had been loaded. I agreed to extend the job by an additional hour, hoping the crew would make significant progress. When they left after four hours because they had another scheduled job, my 26-foot truck was still only about one-third full. I then had to hire another crew the following day to finish loading the truck, resulting in additional expense and delays.
It is possible there were conversations between the crew and my friend, who was also helping with the move, that I was not aware of. However, based on my experience hiring movers through HireAHelper, this level of productivity was unlike anything I have encountered before. If I had been told early in the move that the crew believed this was far more than a four-hour job and that only about one-third of the truck would be loaded before they had to leave, I would have gladly discussed different priorities or made other arrangements while there was still time.
I don't enjoy leaving negative reviews, but I believe other customers deserve an honest account of my experience. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this crew based on the service I received.

This crew was amazing! They were efficient, professional, and incredibly polite throughout the entire move. They handled all of our belongings with great care, making the entire experience smooth and stress-free. Their attention to detail and commitment to excellent service truly stood out. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable moving team. I only wish I could give them a rating higher than five stars—they absolutely earned it! INCREDIBLE YOUNG MEN!!!

I had a good experience with Protect the Nest during my move. My move-in was delayed because the apartment was not ready on time, and there was also heavy rain on moving day. Despite these challenges, the crew worked hard and remained professional throughout the process.
The team handled the loading and unloading efficiently, took care of my furniture, and helped move everything from my second-floor apartment to my new ground-floor apartment within the same complex. They were courteous, hardworking, and communicated well during the move.
Moving is always stressful, especially when unexpected delays happen, but the crew adapted to the situation and got the job done. I appreciate their help and would consider using their services again.

Ray is a magician. We were expecting to have to leave items behind but he managed to fit all of my belongings into the moving container so skillfully, we were beyond impressed and grateful. And he not only kept us updated on his arrival time, but also came with moving blankets, a dolly, and wrap for us. Jovan, his partner, was so friendly and nice to chat with while moving things out the door. Awesome duo, we cannot say enough good things abt them, would rec, very positive and efficient.
