The 2 gentlemen arrived on time and went right to work. Both were very personable, had a real desire to help and didn't try to extend the time any longer then necessary.

I booked them for 2 hours and they packed my entire 1 bedroom house, plus living room, refrigerator and other miscellaneous items in 1.5 hours.

I tipped both of them for doing a great job. I would highly recommend using Hire-A-Helper again.

They were more than four hours late. They called 20 min after the job was supposed to start wondering if I still needed them and saying I didn't confirm the job. I had confirmed the job three days earlier. Thy said they would be there in an hour. 1.5 hours later they still weren't there and wouldn't answer my calls. A few minutes later another employee called and said they were on their way and would be there shortly. "Shortly" turned into two more hours. Once they finally arrived they worked quickly and were polite. I have a few pieces that are important to me and they took great care while moving them.
Traffic was terrible that day. But, if they had shown up at the original time they could have avoided all the traffic. Due to being so late, and unprofessional behavior on the phone, I would not use them again.

I would use this company again if I have to move. They were later than expected, but that certainly did not cause a problem since these guys worked FAST. They were professional and got the job done. I'm amazed how nice and easy this whole process/service was.

Arrived late, but worked very hard once arrived. My job consisted of Texas Moving Center moving my stuff into a rented moving truck. They provided one upright dolly and a four wheel dolly. They did a good job protecting furniture in the truck using the blankets that I provided. They also did a great job getting the most out of the space in the truck while making sure items were secure for travel. They didn't use plastic wrap as some companies might do, but this wasn't an issue for me.
