Josh and Joe were absolutely amazing! They arrived on time, worked quickly and efficiently, and were incredibly careful with everything they moved into the apartment. We had to rearrange a few things more than once, and they never complained or made us feel rushed. They were polite, patient, and wonderful to work with from start to finish. I highly recommend them!

We hired 3 helpers. 1 showed up on time (8am) the other 2 showed up at 1 hour late (9am) for a 3 hour move-in time for a city move with PODs. 1 of the late helpers, Chad, spent most of their time on their phone rather than moving and working with his peers. On 2 different occasions he dragged our pillows and another lightweight item from the truck to the 17th floor via elevator. Our furniture was wrapped in moving blankets and then Saran wrapped and somehow our tables got scuffed up in the care of the movers.
Our sofa legs were dropped and the legs now have deep cuts.
Despite indicators of how to hold furniture (ex: “this side up” “fragile” and neon caution tape) our TV and other fragile items were not upright and some glass was broken along the way. Glass can break in moves of course—but in this case our stuff was not handled with care.
Our mattresses were in mattress protectors and put an additional plastic mattress moving bag / cover over and it seems the mover(s) took those covers off and then handed us the covers in perfect condition (so it seems the cover hadn’t torn or fallen off in the process, but seems to have been removed). Then the movers dragged our mattresses on the floor rather than picking them up.
Ahead of the move I reminded the moving team at the number provided that though we have no stairs we are in a high rise and we recommend a cart to help them move and they didn’t bring one. I’ve hired movers at least 7 times before this experience with Logan Lift Express and when they haven’t brought a cart they were able to pick up every item (and we’ve had many of our items for several years, so these items have been moved before and not dragged).
I think it’s also worth noting that the other 2 movers seemed to really try at their job but could have used the guidance / help of a more experienced mover. And they could have used a cart / dolly / hand truck.
I can understand traffic but an hour late to a move with a 3 hour limit is unacceptable. And moving without a cart is unprofessional if you’re unable to moves our items without dragging them—you need to bring equipment to be able to do your job. When I read through the terms the only equipment we might have needed to provide were tools for putting furniture together, had we needed that. We did not need furniture assembled. We just wanted our covers to stay on the items we already paid other movers to wrap, to handle fragile items with care, to be on time, and to be off your phone (especially when you’re an hour late). I’m disappointed. I’m actively discouraging people from working with this company.
Finally, I called the company to share this and they didn’t follow up.
