Trent and Daris helped us today. I never write reviews but I'm so impressed. They were on time, courteous, professional and very careful with all item. They organized all items in the truck very well and helped us figure out our move. I was so worried about moving but Trent and Daris made is so easy. Thank you you so much to both. We were told they would arrive between 9am and 10am but they didn't get there till noon. It was only after I made several calls that I learned the job before mine had run long and thus the delay. A whole lot of anxiety could have been avoided if they had just called to let us know they were running behind. Once they were there they worked very hard, were very respectful of our property as well as being courteous and polite. They were willing to do everything we asked and accomplished everything in the time I expected. I would use them again but a better handle on arrival time would sure be helpful.

I hired S&L express through Hire A Helper to move a washer, dryer and elliptical trainer into my difficult to access basement. They arrived on time and were very courteous and accommodating. When I couldn't remove the gas fitting from the existing dryer, they offered to help and carefully got it removed. The access to the basement was convoluted and required holding these heavy items by hand at awkward angles, but they did the job quickly and nothing got a bump or scratch.

Hiring S&L was the best decision we've made! We had Trent, Jeremy, and Damien. They were amazing and worked so well together. They were on time and worked so hard! We had a few very heavy items including and elliptical that had to go all the way in the basement and they did it with ease. Not one thing got broken and they were extremely courteous of our belongings. If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would! You can't go wrong with this crew.

They were on time, totally prepared, worked unbelievably fast, took care in handling the items and I would highly recommend them again.

Helpers arrived approximately 2 hours late, but the dispatcher was very nice and offered a discount for this. The 2 helpers did have some difficulty getting larger pieces of furniture down the stairs and a drawer will need to be repaired. However, the helpers did work very hard in the time they were on the job and did an excellent job fitting a large amount of items into the container provided. They were conscientious of protecting items and assisted in wrapping chair legs in bubble wrap.

We've noticed that customers who have items already packed and furniture items wrapped save time and money. However, we are more than happy to assist with any of these task the day of the move, just please book adequate time if any of these services are needed

What's your favorite part about being a mover?
Our favorite part is seeing customers looks of relief after we've assisted them and also knowing that our company assisted in minimizing some of the customers stress that comes along with moving
What training do you provide your crew members?
Our service providers and sub-contracted and most already have the needed skills to perform the job. I've heard that they stay updated by actual on the job experiences dealing with unexpected issues and how-to video guides available online
