I hired SMF for 2 separate moves that were 3 days apart.
The first move went smoothly, Silberio and DeQuan went above and beyond...they were on time (actually 15 minutes early) and professional.
The second time, which was 3 days later, they were to arrive at 11am and I received a call from Silberio basically saying that they were not going to help us that day...I had confirmed with him directly the night before. After basically begging Silberio to send at least one person, he did send us one gentleman to help. So, in a nutshell....IF they show up, they are great. But, from reading other reviews it seems that dependability is an issue.
And for the record, I gave them a VERY nice tip, bought them lunch, etc. during the first move. So, it was not anything on my end that would have made them not want to show up for the second booking.

Horrible, horrible, horrible! DO NOT HIRE THEM!!!
The movers simply did not show up! They did not care!
We hired 4 helpers, only two showed up, even they were late and when they found the other two did not come, they run away as fast as they could! This is NOT a joke, it's the reality!
The boss of the company, Silberio Francis, canceled the agreement on the day of our move, although we called and discussed with him all the terms.
If you think this was just bad luck, think twice before you book your move with this company! The bad luck might be on you!
We've been left with our stuff in the truck, struggling with little kids, including a baby, paying extra for extra time for the track and hotel room, just because this company did NOT CARE to respect the customers and we had no help to get our stuff out of the truck and in the house.
My advice: DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! JUST DON"T! Let it sick as they do not care about your stress and sanity during moving!

Carlos and his colleague, didn’t get his name, were incredible. They showed up on time and we didn’t get our keys for 40 minutes but they waited for us patiently. Then they started the move once we got the keys. This company is fantastic and as professional as it gets! Definitely hire them

How should a customer prepare for moving day?
The customer should try to have all boxes properly sealed, dresser drawers emptied if possible. have boxes staged in one location, also to have all needed materials such as moving blankets , shrink wrap and tape.
What types of moves have you handled?
My company has handled various residential moves, long distance ,storage units ,ABF trailers, loading and unloading of PODS ,and office relocation.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
My favorite part of being a mover is helping people eliminate the anxiety that's comes on moving day.
What training do you provide your crew members?
My crew has been trained in proper lifting techniques and well as furniture preparation,packing and customer service. .
