Helps U Move provided absolutely terrible service. Showed up 2 hours late with zero equipment, dropped many items, complained the entire time about the amount of belongings they needed to move as well as the distance they were required to move it, and lied to their manager about being told to leave without finishing. My description here at HireAHelper was very detailed describing the situation, number of stairs, and distance from the container to the residence. They didn't stay the full 2 hours, and left many belongings remaining in the storage container as well as scattered between the container and our residence.
We have moved 5 times over the past 9 years and this was THE worst experience we have ever had with movers. Will absolutely never use them again and will be sure to advise against them if anyone ever asks for a recommendation.

Helpers where over an hour late. By the time they arrived most of the truck was empty by me and a friend. They did move a frig and it was a mess. The help was not aware of how to move it through the door and had to be directed on the procedure.

The movers arrived on time, however they did not pay attention to the labels on the boxes. I found boxes of books on top fragile boxes. I had boxes that were clearly marked "This way UP" which was ignored. They didn't get everything on the truck and were slower than I think they should have been. The helper, was almost always on his cell phone, while the lead helper was working hard.

I will give them that were nice when they came. They were late, which they called and said were stuck in traffic. I had originally put in for 3 helpers and only 2 came as something came up for the other one. It took a week to get my money back as I ended up being billed for 3. My other problem was that when they put my husbands motorcycle in they did not secure it well and now it has a huge scratch on it, which is very upsetting. I actually gave them a nice tip, but when we got to our destination and found that scratch I was very upset because that tip did not reflect the quality of work. My husband also had to rearrange some things half way through the trip because of other things we found to not be secure. Unfortunately due to those big things in my mind I would not use them again.

George and Mike did a fantastic job. They were prepared for the job and wasted no time in getting it done. Luckily they came with some plastic wrap because I was not prepared with any. They taught me a lot about being prepared to move. They were thoughtful and courteous. I would definitely recommend them for anyone that needs a couple of extra hands. Definitely worth the money I spent.
