Affable guys, terrible loaders.
They loaded all the boxes first, then turned to the furniture and said "We're not going to fit all this in here." So we watched them remove the protective cover I'd placed on the couch because "It's too hard to move with that on" and then scrape our leather couch across the bottom of the POD and ratchet the couch up on its side with nothing protecting it from the textured floor.
Then one of the guys noticed I placed a moving blanket between a table and the dog crate they'd leaned it up against. "Oh, you have moving blankets?" I pointed out the stack right by the front door. "Huh, I must've been stepping over those all morning."
Over the next 20 minutes, they stacked as much furniture as they could into the remaining space. We tipped them, let the crew leave an hour early, and closed up the POD. The next morning we pulled the furniture out and looked at how the boxes were stacked. The best example of how poorly the boxes were placed was a box clearly marked "Fragile. Wine glasses" at the base of a large stack of book boxes.
We refilled the POD and were able to place all (significantly more than they had) our belongings in there, with proper protection.

Holy crap I would give them a million stars if I could. Our pod was suppose to show up yesterday morning and unloading services were suppose to arrive between 2-3. Well the movers showed up and the pod still wasnt there. Thankfully they were flexible and told us they could come around 12 - 1 the next day(today). So the pod was delivered this morning finally, the movers came on time and got the job done quickly and efficiently.
