Ryan and Isaiah were knocking on my door at exactly the time they were scheduled. Ryan first explained how the morning would progressed, then asked me to show them what needed to be loaded. They were very hard working, but it was obvious that they understood how my goods needed to be packed into the pod. Ryan discussed his experience in moving and it was obvious the wasn't his first job. I wouldn't hesitate to use Hire A Helper in the future and I'd request Ryan and Isaiah. They were very professional and fast working.

The two gentleman who came to help us load our vehicle did a fantastic job. They called to ask if they could stop and get a drink and then when okayed they said that they would be late. When they arrived they got to work right away and were done in just over an hour. I would recommend them.

1 person was early, the other person was late. Neither person came properly prepared to move heavy items.
When I told them the first item to be moved was a piano and asked where their piano dolly was, they said that was not on the order. I told them I entered it online and told the person on the phone about the piano. Watching them struggle with the piano without the proper equipment was therefore very stressful.
When starting to move the second piece of furniture, the lead mover had a severe back pain spasm. This was again due to not having the proper attire for moving heavy furniture. He had to stop for several minutes. This also caused him to move more slowly when moving the next few items.
They did not bring an appliance dolly, even though they were told there was both a refrigerator and freezer.
After this, the one with the back pain decided he could not continue. We had to wait until another team could arrive.
The second team still did not bring proper equipment or gear, but they were at least faster, more competent and more capable.
My rating is an average of the 2 different teams. The first team would have received 2 stars while the second would have received 4.
When it comes time to unload, I will not use them.

Quick and efficient, Ryan and Isaiah made quick work helping us unload our moving truck and getting our large and ungainly items where they needed to be within the house. They managed to fulfill our needs about an hour more quickly than anticipated, we may make use of their services again for unloading and transporting numerous items in storage to our new home.

Evan and Sebastian were on time, explained everything in detail about moving the items. Placed all furniture where we asked them. They took time to put some furniture items together. Caused no damage, even pointed out damage from previous movers who loaded our POD. I would highly recommend them. Very quick and professional service.
