Movers were on time, brought different dollies for whatever needed to be moved, and were quick and efficient! They asked us for blankets to cover all wood furniture so it wouldn’t get scratched during transport. Made small talk to be friendly but not enough to interrupt their job or waste time. Would definitely recommend!

We scheduled 2 helpers to move our heavy furniture into the house. The arrived within the time frame and moved everything in 45 minutes. When finished they asked if we needed anything else moved. We were happy to pay for 2 guys/2 hours for 45 minutes of work. They worked fast and were professional.

David and James were not only on time but early! They were fast, efficient and I loved that they took extra care with my things. They even moved a refrigerator that technically wasn't part of the job. Finished right on time. We moved on literally one of the busiest moving days of 2020. Our crew was very courteous and helpful. My recommendation to anyone hiring movers is to disassemble anything you can in advance, so that you make the time you are paying for hourly help most efficient. We forgot about a few things like taking the feet off a chair, things like that. Before you release the crew walk through every space to make sure there isn't a heavy piece left that you can't manage on your own. Moving day is very nerve wracking. Make sure you give Hire a Helper a back up phone number, just in case your phone dies and you can't find where you packed your charger, or you wash your husband's phone in his pants. Moving during COVID and rioting is stressful. Hire a Helper made it much less stressful for us. Thank You.
