Anthony and Naz were on time, knowledgable, and efficient. They were flexible with changes and determined to ensure the PODs were emptied before they left, even though they had to stay an hour longer. I’d hire them again any time!

We hired Home Control USA to help unload our 16 foot moving truck. They confirmed our appointment time by phone several days before, and on the day of the move showed up right on time after calling to let me know they were on their way. 2 movers unloaded our truck in about two hours, which is exactly what I had budgeted for/planned on - no surprise charges for extra time. They did a good job moving everything and helped make sure all the larger items were situated where we wanted them. They were easy to communicate with, reliable, and efficient - would definitely use again!

The crew was totally awesome. The best "Tetris" players I've ever seen in packing a truck for a long haul move. Would definitely use them again. There was a bit of scheduling glitch (our time was switched by accident), but the quality and speed of the crew more than made up for it!
I would definitely call and use Home Control USA again in a heartbeat.

Leader was over the top good. His supporter, however, was poor. Dropped to boxes, ran into the chandelier, and broke a piece of furniture. Finally, I asked him to be more careful and he somewhat stopped working and played with his phone while I carried things from garage to meet the time limit for which I paid.

FIVE STARS FOR THE MOVERS! The actual movers were AMAZING. They were so professional, AND packed things with such intention. This move was for my ailing father, and because of my work schedule I wasn't able to be there. We were beyond impressed with the movers. A+ guys. Truly above and beyond.
Communications between the Hire A Helper, us and the movers, however, were terrible. The company accommodated us changing move day by one day (we had no problem paying the hefty change fee), which we greatly appreciated. We were rescheduled for between 9-10am. That window came and went with no communication from moving company and no movers showing up. A bit after 10am I started to receive texts from Hire A Helper that our movers should be there or are on their way. No one showed up. After 11am the movers themselves called us, asking if they could start the 1pm job early. I said our move window was 9-10am. The movers were given a 1pm slot, while we were given 9-10am slot. Complete and utter miss on Hire A Helper's side. Super, super frustrating. Zero star review for the complete miscommunication between company and movers. We would hire the movers again in a heartbeat if we knew who they were. We won't recommend Hire A Helper.

Both movers did a stellar job! They were fast, completely unloading our U-haul in the timeframe we intended and we’re respectful to our belongings. Despite the weather being hot and walking up stairs, both movers worked hard and we’re friendly. We would definitely book again!

Your requested crew size will arrive promptly within the scheduled time frame. Or the customer will be contacted if, for any reason they are running behind with an estimated ETA.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
The process always tends to operate smoothly if the customer is prepared. Having boxes packed (and labled) prior to the moving crews arrival helps us to maximize time and space. Organization is key!
