While they communicated well originally and even attempted to help out with moving bigger items than planned, I would not be able to recommend them. Damage was done to floor and walls of a new home with no follow up response after initially stating they would get back to me about the damage. I even waited two weeks and texted them one more time to follow up. No response other than I would call you the next day. No call the next day. Upon finishing the unpacking and checking things, items were poorly placed in the home, even after being told what to do. Without being able to watch then every second of the job, it was a pain cleaning things back up from the poor unpacking they did. It would have been better off, doing it myself and just asking them to place it in the garage. I would have saved half the price of the job.

Initially, my move with I&O moving was going great. My 2 movers arrived on time and got right to work. It took a little longer than expected (an extra 30 mins) but they finished the job. We had to rearrange a few boxes in the truck at the end (this should have been a red flag) because they were stacked on top of each other with no support. I did not go and check on the truck as we were loading because I assumed that movers would know how to properly pack a truck. We drove from Baltimore to Wisconsin and when we unloaded in Wisconsin I was shocked. Lamps were broken, items were damaged. They took a 50 lb barbell and stood it vertically upright in the truck so of course it fell over and caused damage. My mattresses were standing upright vertical across the middle of the truck, not against any walls at all. There were heavy weights placed on the bottom of my bookshelf which scratched the entire shelf. We had PLENTY of furniture pads in the truck and not a single one was used. I am very disappointed in the way the truck was loaded. I had selected I&O moving because of the good reviews but if this is how they pack a truck I will not be recommending them in the future. I am just a bit surprised that two movers who work for a moving company cannot properly load a truck and had no respect for any of my belongings once they were in the truck.

I & O moving were amazing!! They came on very short notice when another company cancelled. They were very communicative and sent two excelled workers. They worked very fast, followed instructions and didn’t damage anything. It really saved our life and we would definitely hire them again if we move in the future.

They were on time. They seem to think furniture pads are a tool of the devil. Odd approach to loading a truck. Odd way of thinking about carrying furniture--why would one carry an antique desk legs up (so the insert in the top falls out????)? Very trying experience.

Would recommend I&O Moving to anyone! They kept in contact to let us know when they would be arriving. After a review of all our stuff, they got to work right away loading and moving onto the truck. Gordon had great suggestions on loading and knew exactly where everything needed to go. Everyone was efficient, friendly and courteous. We enjoyed working with them. I don't look forward to moving again, but if I do I wouldn't hesitate to contact them. Thanks!

complete professionalism from beginning to end spectacular customer service, polite, and courteous movers that are always on time.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
nothing but the best all movers have years of experience and aim to please. we start all moves with a phone call prior to your move, giving you an eta and the names of the movers that have been assigned to your job. you will then be advised when they arrive, and your time will not start until they start moving things. you will also be contacted periodically throughout the job to make sure our level of satisfaction expectations are being met.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
make sure you know what items will be moved on moving date so movers can effectively plan the loading of your truck. other than that relax and let the professionals make your move smooth.

you name it we have done it small moves, large moves, state to state, local, office, junk runs, we do it all you can count on us for all your moving needs
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
The best part about moving aside from the amazing relationships we build with our customers is when we are at the end of the load and the customer comes out to see how much we packed, and how neatly all of there belongings fit into the truck.
What training do you provide your crew members?
All crew members are trained on proper lifting, and loading techniques, and proper customer service interaction, also packing methods, team lifting, and furniture wrapping
