Sitter's Movers was amazing. They came on time and were very prepared for the job. They looked at our stuff and built a great plan with us. We fit a lot of things into a PODS container and definitely included some items we had thought might not fit. They worked very hard and got all of our boxes down 3 flights of stairs and made incredible time. This gave us more time to organize the PODS container to fit everything in it. They were respectful of all of our belongings and would always inquire whether boxes could be turned in different directions. They were great communicators and we greatly enjoyed working with them. We would definitely use them again and would recommend Sitter's Movers to anyone needing to move in the San Diego area.

Wow. I used HireAHelper at my old home and that company was great. Then down here in San Diego I went to HireAHelper again and got great service again. I dont generally trust the internet but these 5 star ratings are real!
I booked Sitter's Movers for 3 hours to unload a 16 foot PODS unit. Before the unloading, the owner, Anthony Sitter, even called me to ensure we had everything right. They arrived on time with the right equipment and cheerful attitudes.
Well, what a fool I was. These two tall guys emptied the pod in 64 minutes! My wife and I spent all our time routing boxes to the right rooms. We carried maybe 20 boxes ourselves. I was amazed when Andrew hoisted a 100 pound box and walked it into the house without a hand truck. They took items in through 3 different doors to protect the house and goods. One doorway was narrow and some items would have dinged the washer/dryer. So I pay them the greatest complement: I hired them again for 2 hours tomorrow to empty the last 16 foot POD.
And I have notified my nephew to use HireAHelper in Phoenix out in September.
BTW -- I am not prone to overstatement or kind reviews when they are undeserved.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
We will contact you via text and email within 24 hours of booking your order to acknowledge receipt and introduce ourselves. We will also call you two business days prior to the move to discuss the details of your move and answer any questions and/or instructions you have for us. You are welcome to reach out to us as much as you like to!
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
We will be on time. To be early is to be on time and our guys aim to arrive 15 minutes prior to the scheduled time to perform a walk through with you.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
We will send you an email within 24 hours after booking a move with the best recommendations we have learned to offer over the many years we have been moving professionally.
What types of moves have you handled?
We have not seen it all (not sure that's possible). But we have seen a lot: tiny moves, entire furnished apartments buildings completely changed out, junk removal, billionaires with high-end homes, professional athletes, homeless (hey, they have stuff too and sometimes, ya just gotta help somebody), office moves, cross-country, international...the list goes on.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
I started doing this because I wanted to get paid to work out. I'm still doing this because I find tremendous joy in serving people in a part of life that is often pretty stressful. It's very satisfying to tangibly see the work you've accomplished for someone else. Meeting new people, spending a lot of the day outside, seeing new parts of town are all pretty cool too :)
What training do you provide your crew members?
All of our crew are background checked and carefully screened. A crew member is required to have a minimum of 40 hours of on-the-job training prior to working for our customers.

We accept next day requests at our normal rates.

We do not refund for any unused time.

We can always stay at least 2 hours over the prebooked time.
